Discussion states: Among various epilepsy syndromes, those caused by wind pathogen are named Feng Xian (Wind Epilepsy). This condition arises from improper breastfeeding and nurturing, leading to disharmony of Qi and Blood. Alternatively, after sweating with open Cou Li (skin pores), the Wind pathogen may invade due to deficiency, accompanied by cold sensations. The onset occurs without convulsions or crying. If the pulse is Chen (Deep), it is classified as Yin Xian (Yin Epilepsy), involving the Zang organs; when severe, it is difficult to treat. There is also a condition resembling wind spasm similar to epilepsy that must be distinguished: if the body is stiff and arched backward like a corpse, yet periodically regains consciousness, careful differentiation and treatment are required.
