论曰，肾主骨，齿者，骨之余也，人之肾气强盛，骨髓坚固，则齿牙莹白璀璨，今肾气
虚弱，无以荣于骨髓，故令牙齿枯槁而黄黑。
治齿黄黑。龙花蕊散方
龙花蕊（二两） 升麻 黄芩（去黑心） 白蒺藜（炒） 郁李仁根（刮去皮切） 地
柏（炙切）
地骨皮（锉碎微炒） 吴蓝（去根各一两） 龙脑（别研半钱） 麝香（别研半钱）
上一十味，除脑麝外，捣罗为散，次入脑麝细研，凡口齿之疾，无不治，每欲贴时，先
以柳枝净揩齿，以新汲水漱口，更以盐花于齿龈内外揩之，有涎唾即吐，不要漱口，便取白
薄纸剪作片子，阔如薤叶，以水蘸纸，掺药末少许，贴齿龈上，咽津亦得。
治风热牙齿黄黑。细辛散方

上七味，捣罗为散，取少许敷齿，更取一钱匕，绵裹含化，咽津无妨。

丹砂
上八味，除丹砂麝香外，研为散，用湿纸三五重裹，以黄泥再裹，炭火中烧令通赤，候
冷去泥，入丹砂麝香，研令细，用柳枝点揩之。
治齿黄黑。洗齿白芷散方
白芷 白蔹 莎草根（去毛） 白石英（研） 细辛（去苗叶） 芎
上六味各等分，捣研为散，常用揩齿。
治齿黑黄。揩齿胡桐泪散方
胡桐泪（研半两） 丹砂（研一分） 麝香（研一分）
上三味，细研为散，常用揩齿。
治齿黑黄揩齿方
桑根白皮（锉不拘多少）
上一味，以醋浸三日，用揩齿。
It is stated that the Kidney governs the bones, and teeth are the surplus of the bones. When a person's Kidney Qi is robust and the marrow is solid, the teeth will be bright white and lustrous. However, if the Kidney Qi is deficient and unable to nourish the bone marrow, the teeth become withered, yellow, and black.
To treat yellow and black teeth. Longhuarui San Formula (Dragon Flower Stamen Powder)
Longhuarui (2 liang) Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 升麻) Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, 黄芩) [removed black heart] Baijili (Tribuli Fructus, 白蒺藜) [stir-fried] Yuliren Gen (Prunus humilis root, 郁李仁根) [scraped skin and sliced] Dibai (Platycladi Cacumen, 地柏) [roasted and sliced]
Digupi (Lycii Cortex, 地骨皮) [crushed and slightly stir-fried] Wulan (Isatidis Radix, 吴蓝) [roots removed, each 1 liang] Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum, 龙脑) [separately ground, half qian] Shexiang (Moschus, 麝香) [separately ground, half qian]
The above ten herbs, except for Longnao and Shexiang, are pounded and sifted into powder. Then add Longnao and Shexiang and grind finely. This formula treats all oral and dental diseases effectively. Before application, first clean the teeth thoroughly with a willow branch, rinse the mouth with fresh cold water, and rub salt flowers on the inside and outside of the gums. Spit out saliva without rinsing again. Cut thin white paper into strips as wide as Allium macrostemon leaves, moisten the paper with water, sprinkle a small amount of powder on it, and apply it to the gums. Swallowing saliva is acceptable.
To treat wind-heat causing yellow and black teeth. Xixin San Formula (Asari Powder)

Ningshuishi (Halitum, 凝水石) [ground, half liang]
The above seven herbs are pounded and sifted into powder. Apply a small amount to the teeth. Take one qianbi size, wrap in cotton, hold in the mouth to dissolve, and swallowing saliva is harmless.

The above eight herbs are pounded and ground into fine powder, then re-ground to ensure uniformity. Use a willow branch bitten soft at the tip to dip in the powder and wipe the teeth; this is wonderful.

Dansha (Cinnabaris, 丹砂)
The above eight herbs, except for Dansha (Cinnabaris, 丹砂) and Shexiang (Moschus, 麝香), are ground into powder. Wrap in three to five layers of wet paper, then wrap again with yellow mud. Roast in charcoal fire until red hot. After cooling, remove the mud. Add Dansha (Cinnabaris, 丹砂) and Shexiang (Moschus, 麝香), grind finely, and use a willow branch to wipe.

The above three herbs are finely ground into powder. Commonly used to wipe the teeth.

Sanggen Baidi (Morus Alba Root Bark, 桑根白皮) [crush, any amount]
