Formula for treating Paralysis Wind (Tan Huan Feng) with inability to move hands and feet:
Chun Pi (Cortex Toosendan, if unavailable, branches and leaves can be used, dried and powdered); Gouqi Gen (Radix Lycii, finely chopped); Yimu Cao (Herba Leonuri); Kushen (Radix Sophorae Flavescentis); Zaomu Pi (Cortex Ziziphi Spinosae, freshly collected and chopped, each 1 jin); Wulingzhi (Resin Trogopterori, ground, 5 liang).
The above six ingredients are pounded and ground into fine powder. For use, take an appropriate amount of the powder and spread it on a mat to a thickness of about half a finger's width. Arrange new cattle, horse, or donkey bones neatly on top of the powder in a fish-scale pattern. Burn evenly with straw fire until the bones are thoroughly calcined to ash. Quickly sweep away the bone ash to ensure cleanliness. While the powder is still hot, spread it on a mattress/reed mat, adjusting the thickness appropriately, and have the patient lie upon it. Before lying down, first administer one dose of Zhenxin San (Heart-Calming Powder).

After taking the medicine, immediately have the patient lie on the affected side upon the prepared bed/mattress. As soon as they lie down, administer 3 qianbi of Zhuihun San (Soul-Chasing Powder), decocted in one zhan of wine until boiling. Consume the liquid and dregs together. Profuse sweating resembling glue should occur.
