[Discussion] The manifestations of Baihu Feng (White Tiger Wind) involve pain located either in the bone joints or in the four limbs. The skin color remains unchanged. The condition is quiet during the day and flares up at night. Upon onset, the pain penetrates to the bone marrow, accompanied by delirious speech or visual hallucinations. This is primarily caused by pathogenic factors such as wind, cold, summer-heat, and dampness invading the body when its righteous qi is deficient. These pathogens disseminate within the meridians and stagnate in the blood and qi, accumulating without dispersing. When yang qi is weak and yin qi is flourishing, the pain becomes severe as if bitten by a tiger; hence it is named "Baihu Feng" (White Tiger Wind).
