It is discussed that the presentation of Wei Feng (Stomach Wind) involves profuse sweating in the neck, aversion to wind, inability to swallow food and drink, obstruction and blockage in the chest and diaphragm, frequent abdominal fullness, abdominal distension upon exposure to cold, and diarrheal discharge after consuming cold foods.
For treating Wei Feng manifesting as profuse sweating in the neck and aversion to wind, inability to swallow food and drink, obstruction in the chest and diaphragm, frequent abdominal fullness, abdominal distension upon cooling, diarrheal discharge after eating cold foods, emaciation, and profuse sweating in the neck, use the Doukou Wan (Cardamom Pill) formula.
Doukou (Nutmeg, *Myristica fragrans*, half tael), Qianghuo (Notopterygium Rhizome, *Notopterygii Rhizoma*), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, *Saposhnikoviae Radix*), Jiegeng (Platycodon Root, *Platycodonis Radix*, stir-fried, each one fen), Chenjupi (Aged Tangerine Peel, *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*), Gancao (Licorice Root, *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*, honey-fried), Muxiang (Costus Root, *Aucklandiae Radix*). The above twelve ingredients are ground into a fine powder, mixed with refined honey, and formed into pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30 to 40 pills per dose, washed down with rice water, three times daily and once at night.
For treating wind-cold invading the interior and lodging in the intestines and stomach, causing undigested food and water, incomplete digestion diarrhea (Sun Xie), abdominal pain, borborygmus, and hypochondriac distension, use the Weifeng Tang (Stomach Wind Decoction).
Renshen (Ginseng Root, *Panacis Ginseng Radix*), Chi Fuling (Red Poria, *Poria*, black skin removed), Xiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome, *Chuanxiong Rhizoma*), Guizhi (Cinnamon Twig, *Cinnamomi Ramulus*, coarse bark removed), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, *Angelicae Sinensis Radix*, sliced and dried), Shaoyao (Peony Root, *Paeoniae Radix*), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma*, each one tael).
