Commentary states: Individuals suffering from exhaustion and injury have deficient Ying (Nutrient) Qi and Wei (Defensive) Qi, with weakened Qi and Blood. The meridians become stagnant, allowing pathogenic factors to take advantage and invade, clashing with the righteous Qi. Palpation reveals a pulse where the Tight (Jin) and Soft (Ru) qualities contend, which is indicative of this condition.
