Discussion states: Facial macules, dot-like as black sesame, patch-like as sparrow eggs, sparse distribution like chess pieces, dense enough to not allow needle insertion, are all caused by wind-pathogen lodging in the skin, phlegm-fluids infiltrating and soaking, with the pathological form manifesting externally. Or it results from sitting idle after a full meal, doing nothing, similar to the disease of "accumulation not dissipating" mentioned in health preservation texts, causing the face and eyes to become dark and rough. Although there are fixed prescriptions for dispersing these spots, relying on cosmetic applications to remove them, practiced morning and night, how can one achieve a cure?
