Discusses the manifestations of wind-induced numbness (Feng Bu Ren). It is characterized by a sensation on the skin as if scratching through clothing. This condition arises from deficiency of Ying Qi (Nutritive Qi) and excess of Wei Qi (Defensive Qi), allowing Wind-Cold pathogens to invade the muscles. The Blood and Qi fail to coordinate, leading to stagnation, bi-syndrome (obstruction), and accumulation, causing the skin to thicken and lose sensation. The *Nei Jing* states: "When the skin does not receive nourishment, it becomes numb." This refers to this condition.
