Discourse states: Rheumatic Bi syndrome is caused by wind and dampness pathogens invading the meridians and collaterals, resulting in Bi obstruction. Its manifestations include skin numbness and muscle soreness and pain, primarily due to deficiency of True Qi (Zhen Qi), making the body susceptible to invasion by wind and dampness. If left untreated for a long time, the pathogen enters the meridians and collaterals, combats with Yang meridians, causing laxity of joints and inability to maintain function, thus leading to immobility of the body and limbs.
