Formula for treating wind-deficiency syndrome manifesting as a cyanotic-black complexion resembling earth color, lacking luster of sun and moon. In the context of "Jiaogong" (foot-leg weakness/numbness), a cyanotic-black complexion indicates Kidney channel pathology, while lack of luster of sun and moon indicates Liver channel pathology. It is appropriate to use a formula for tonifying the Kidney and treating the Liver.

Process the above twenty-three herbs, sift into fine powder. Take one fangcun bi with wine, twice daily. If not effective, slightly increase to two fangcun bi. For deficient persons, the "Three Jian" (Tian Xiong, Fu Zi, Wu Tou) must be processed/pounded; for robust persons, they may be used raw. Wind diseases originally stem from Kidney deficiency. After contracting the disease, if toxic qi fills the exterior, moxibustion should be used to vent the qi; if it fills the interior, medicine should be used to drive it out. In emergency rescue, this is the necessary principle. Once the wind pathogen subsides, but limbs remain weak and residual toxins remain, one should not stop medication immediately. It is appropriate to take this powder. Pushing out the old and generating the new, it is extremely excellent. This is understandable according to human reason, leaving no room for doubt. (The "Three Jian" being pounded refers to Tian Xiong, Fu Zi, and Wu Tou; if the person is deficient, Gan Jiang should also be processed).
