Treats wind-dizziness (dizziness caused by wind pathogen), mental restlessness, deafness, dim vision, tearing, loss of smell in the nose, oral ulcers, wind-toothache and cervical lymphadenopathy, sores below the throat, irritability and fever, cold extremities with rebellious Qi rising upward, pain in the chest, hypochondrium, and scapula, inability to raise arms above the head, difficulty dressing, stiffness of the waist and spine preventing bending or extending, numbness and anesthesia in the lower limbs, and difficulty standing for long periods. It treats the eight winds and twelve bi syndromes, wu huan liu ji (muscular laxity and tendon spasm), hemiplegia, unilateral atrophy of the four limbs, tendon spasms preventing flexion and extension; as well as zei feng (sudden attack by irregular wind) causing throat obstruction, dysphagia, or a sensation like being pierced by awls or knives, with pain migrating unpredictably within the skin. If left untreated for a long time, the pathogen enters the five zang organs, settles in the epigastrium, or penetrates deep into the gaohuang region, wandering through the four limbs, causing localized coldness as if blown by wind, accumulation of chronic cold and damp-heat, wu lao qi shang (five labors and seven injuries), deficiency and emaciation. This formula is indicated for a hundred diseases.

The above twenty-five ingredients are crushed, soaked in four dou of wine for ten days. Take one ge per dose, gradually increasing to four or five ge, until efficacy is achieved. (Qianjin Yi Fang names this Lu Gong Jiu, containing Jiangjiang. Hu Qia's version excludes Fangji, placing herbs in a silk bag, soaking in two dou of water and two jin of Faqu for three to four nights. Remove the bag, cook two dou of millet rice, mix with the liquid, and ferment. When ready, take an amount the size of a chicken egg twice daily, drinking slowly, until efficacy is achieved.)
Another formula: Treats wind-induced hemiplegia approaching death, weakness from exertion combined with wind pathogen as if struck by ghosts, paralysis of the four limbs preventing walking, inability to dress oneself, tendon spasms, wu huan liu ji, leukorrhea in women, postpartum wind-stroke, and wu lao qi shang.
