My grandmother was misdiagnosed and mistreated for a common cold. After receiving over twenty intravenous infusions of antipyretics, although her fever subsided, she lost more than ten jin (approx. 5 kg) in weight, could only eat a few bites per meal, and was ultimately tortured to death by gastric bleeding, uremia, and bronchitis...

Let me also tell about my little daughter.
When my daughter was one and a half years old, in late autumn, she caught a cold and went to a Grade 3A hospital to see a pediatric expert.
The expert asked: Have you taken any medicine?
Answer: Feng Han Gan Mao Ke Li (Wind-Cold Cold Granules).
Expert: Can you still take Wind-Cold Cold Granules if you have yellow nasal discharge? This is a typical case of Wind-Heat type. Go get a blood test and a chest fluoroscopy to rule out pneumonia.
After the lab results and fluoroscopy came back, the expert said: Pneumonia can be ruled out. Do you want to recover faster or slower?
Question: What if we want to recover faster?
Expert: For a faster recovery, stay in the hospital for a few days of IV fluids; for a slower recovery, go home and take oral medication.
Answer: Let's take oral medication.
The expert prescribed Jin Hong Sheng Ke Li (a TCM granule for Wind-Heat cold) and a Western medicine to relieve cold symptoms.
After giving the child a small amount at home, the next day the child lost all appetite. I felt the expert's prescription was incorrect. Where would Wind-Heat come from in late autumn? Fortunately, I had already known Mr. San Qi, so I quickly consulted online. The Xiao Qing Long Tang (Minor Blue Dragon Decoction) prescribed by the Master cured the child within three or four days.
Since then, I have never taken her to the hospital again. When she gets sick, I treat her according to Mr. San Qi's guidelines for colds, or use relevant patent medicines in combination. If I am unsure, I ask the Masters here for advice.
Now my daughter is four years old. She has never received injections, IV fluids, or taken Western pills. Being sick does not prevent her from attending kindergarten. Many children her age become frequent visitors to the hospital due to colds and pneumonia.
I liked TCM when I was young and read some books but couldn't find the right path. It was Mr. San Qi and folk TCM practitioners who guided me to start with the Shang Han Lun (Treatise on Cold Damage). Although I haven't fully entered the door, I feel I am sitting on the steps.
Thank you to all the Masters of folk TCM for your hard work.
To revive Chinese medicine, doctors contribute intellect and learning, while patients contribute cooperation and effects.
Daily self-reflection: Did I support folk TCM today?

Let me talk about my colleague's experience.
Five days before the Spring Festival this year, she caught a cold and received IV fluids for ten days at a Grade 3A hospital. Her condition progressed from a cold to bronchitis and then to pneumonia. Finally, the doctor said hormones were needed and there was no other cure. My colleague was frightened and discharged herself. On the tenth day of the new year, when she returned to work, she lost her voice. I gave her three doses of Ma Huang Fu Zi Xi Xin Tang (Ephedra, Prepared Aconite Root and Asarum Decoction), and everything was resolved.
It is a pity that my father strongly believes in Western medicine. He went for IV fluids for three weeks for a cold. I prescribed Xiao Qing Long Tang for him, but he ignored me. There was nothing I could do.

Thank you, Master!!!!!!!
1. Initially, I studied the Master's medical cases for a long time and tried his cold remedies myself. They were indeed very effective. Although I took them for a month in total, it was essentially clearing cold qi and pathogenic factors!
2. My husband has chronic pharyngitis. I tried every means to get him to take TCM. It has been several months, and there has been no recurrence.
3. Now I have copied the prescriptions and let my father, sister, brother-in-law, and other relatives in my hometown take TCM when they catch a cold.
I have benefited greatly, but I haven't done enough, and I feel guilty. I really hope to visit Mr. San Qi in person one day. My alma mater is in Shenyang!

Ci Qing Ke Dai (This Feeling Can Wait)
Speaking from the heart
I have always believed that as a mother, I was very qualified, especially when the child was sick. I could stay awake all night, guarding by the bed, measuring the child's temperature regularly, and administering medicine on time. Taking medicine three times a day means taking it every eight hours; one dose is always in the middle of the night. To avoid missing the medication time, I would force myself to stay awake until the dosing time, wake the child up, and administer the medicine. Whenever the fever reached 38 degrees Celsius, I would immediately give Paracetamol for fever reduction, Zailin (Amoxicillin) for anti-infection, and Xinbolin (Ribavirin) for antiviral action. I aimed to eliminate the fever in its萌芽 stage and felt a great sense of achievement for staying up late to ensure the child took medicine on time and didn't develop a high fever.
The child grew up slowly under my "meticulous" care. Whenever there was an influenza epidemic, I would be very nervous, knowing that sooner or later we would catch it. At that time, the family medicine box played a role, filled with various antibiotics, antivirals, antipyretics, and cough syrups. I would be smug about my good preparation. After each cold, I would reflect: Mom and I took such good care, and we dressed appropriately for the weather, so why did the child still catch a cold and develop a fever?
On April 5th, the child vomited first and then developed a fever. Since connecting with Futai Caotang, I read many posts and gained a superficial understanding of TCM, knowing the consequences and side effects of antibiotic abuse. At that time, my mother had already prepared Paracetamol. I was conflicted and thought, let's give the child some water first. How wonderful if water could reduce the fever. Later, the temperature measured 38.6 degrees Celsius. My mother was very nervous and urged me: Take medicine first. The child's lungs are delicate; if it lasts too long, it will turn into pneumonia. At this moment, the child vomited again and hadn't eaten anything all day. I panicked and called the Master. The Master said: Don't panic, and explained some principles about fever and the body's self-protection... I only remembered to administer Ma Huang Tang (Ephedra Decoction) when the temperature reaches a certain level. Hanging up the phone, I still had some confidence.
At this time, my mother suggested: Let's reduce the fever first. If the child keeps burning like this, it will damage the brain and ruin the body... I gritted my teeth and insisted: "Wait a bit longer." Actually, I was still uneasy. During this period, I measured the child's temperature every 20 minutes: 39 degrees, 39.4 degrees, 39.6 degrees, 39.8 degrees. The child had never had such a high fever before. With each measurement, my heart tightened. Later, I didn't dare to measure the temperature anymore. I stopped waiting and hurriedly gave the prepared Ma Huang Tang to the child. The child fell asleep. About two hours later, the child complained of being hot... kicked off the quilt, sweated slightly, and the fever subsided. Quickly quiet, the child slept again, and Mom and I breathed a sigh of relief.
On April 7th, the child hadn't eaten for two days and vomited even water. In the morning, she ate and was energetic. Mom and I were very delighted. In the afternoon, she had a fever again. I was on the verge of collapse. I hadn't slept well for three consecutive days. Just when things seemed better, what happened? I called the Master again and asked: "Why is there another fever?"
The Master said: "Last time you administered the medicine too early. You fired before entering the encirclement..."
Question: "Should I administer medicine?"
Master: "No need to administer medicine yet, observe first..."
Question: "What if she has a fever again tonight?"
Master: "How do you know she will have a fever tonight? Why not think that she might break the fever tonight? Let nature take its course. Let it burn. If you go for IV fluids now, you can definitely reduce the fever. The child's body is in this state because of your actions..."
Hanging up the phone, I really felt bad. I decided to prepare the decoction first. Because the nearby pharmacy didn't have complete TCM ingredients, I ran to three pharmacies to buy Hei Fu Zi (Black Prepared Aconite Root).
From the afternoon onwards, I observed the child's temperature continuously. It was relatively stable, around 38.7 degrees Celsius, and eating was normal. Around 10 PM, the child sweated on her own. After two episodes of spontaneous sweating, I measured the temperature again, and surprisingly, the fever had broken. Mom and I were ecstatic!! The child was still sleeping soundly. It turns out the human body can adjust itself like this. It is truly incredible! At this moment, I correctly understood the true purpose of the Master's harsh words. But at that time, I was confused and felt aggrieved... I misunderstood the Master's intention. I am truly embarrassed. Very guilty!
This time, the child didn't take a single Western pill for the fever. Only the clinic's Ma Huang Li Zhong Granules (Ephedra and Magnolia Bark with Pinellia and Dried Ginger Granules) regulated her condition. Later, there was a slight cough. Two doses after adjustment by the Master the day before yesterday had already improved it.
The above is the entire process of the child's fever. Only personal experience brings the deepest feelings. My mother is also a beneficiary of correct TCM treatment, thanks to Mr. San Qi's careful diagnosis and treatment. It is very lucky to connect with Futai Caotang and meet Mr. San Qi in this life!! This must also be the blessing of my mother's long-term vegetarianism and belief in Buddhism!!
Here, I want to thank Mr. San Qi again.
Bow down and worship again!!! How can a simple 'thank you' suffice?!
Thank my Buddhist friend Xue Yan for encouraging me to firm up my beliefs and providing spiritual support during the child's illness!!
Thank my mother for her hundred-fold care of the child. During the child's illness, she couldn't eat well or sleep well. When the child recovered, she fell ill... Mom, I really wish I could be sick instead of you.
Thank myself, thank my own stubbornness and persistence!!
Thank those reading this post. Wish you and your family health and happiness!!

Years ago, I was hospitalized after a car accident. Daily IV drips, daily anti-inflammatory treatments, suffering greatly. The doctor also said it was best to operate on my fractured left cheek bone. After repeated reminders and persuasions, I almost felt their "doctor's heart is like parents' hearts." My father, experienced in worldly affairs and knowing a little TCM, suspected their intentions. Later, seeing the so-called doctor change plans to X-ray and wanting to put me on the operating table, my father was furious. He signed a liability agreement with the hospital, stating that the hospital would bear no responsibility for consequences after discharge. We went home to recuperate. Half a year later, using herbal medicine, the doctor declared my left cheek fracture healed.

Only here did I thoroughly understand the harm of Western medicine!
It is a pity that in emergencies, the surrounding crowd still seeks help from the detested Western medicine first!!
This is my process of coma due to diabetic ketoacidosis in February. Around midnight, my lower back was sore and I couldn't sleep. My husband called Mr. Liu Chengkong for help. The Master immediately prepared an emergency prescription. However, because TCM herbs couldn't be bought at night, we switched to acupoint massage to relieve pain. The pain was unbearable, and I endured it until past 5 AM. At this time, my husband remembered someone he knew who could buy the herbs. By the time the medicine was boiled, it was 6 AM. After drinking the medicine, the lower back pain reduced (with no numbness of mouth/tongue, palpitations, etc.), and I could sleep drowsily for a while. Unfortunately, because my body was extremely weak, plus nausea, I couldn't even manage to drink TCM every two hours.
This continued until past 1 PM when my father came up from my hometown. Seeing my condition, while my husband was still advising me to drink TCM, my father angrily said: "Look at how bad it is, why drink TCM? Send to the hospital immediately." Helpless, my husband carried me to the hospital. Although I was rescued in the hospital, those indescribable IV fluids pulled my body, which had been somewhat regulated by Mr. San Qi over twenty days, back into the abyss! It started with two bottles of saline, followed by saline plus insulin. Starting the next day, Levofloxacin (antibiotic) and Penicillin were used as routine fluids daily, and for another 24 hours, sugar-saline plus insulin and pure saline were used to eliminate ketones. Every time antibiotics were infused, I felt extremely uncomfortable; at night without infusion, I felt much better. After five days, I dared not stay anymore and forced my discharge. For the whole ten-plus days after returning, I was too weak to go downstairs! After returning home, my parents were very dissatisfied, saying: "In such a state, why not send to the hospital, and you still feed TCM!" (My father was particularly angry at my husband, believing his preference for TCM was blind.) Relatives like my eldest and third sisters immediately said: Can TCM save lives? If not sent to the hospital, life would be hard to keep! They claimed this illness was caused by taking TCM! Their blind obedience to Western medicine brought unjust accusations upon Mr. San Qi and Mr. Chengkong!! My husband and I have always felt guilty!
Three or four days after discharge, I developed facial paralysis (because it was past 9 PM when I was discharged, possibly a stroke). When my father found out, he urgently requested I be hospitalized again. Helplessly, I was admitted. Of course, the cold IV bottle was inevitable. The first three days involved hormones and nutrition, and the last two days less hormones. After five days of fluid infusion, there was no reaction. Moreover, throughout the treatment, the doctor never told me that facial paralysis patients should not be exposed to wind. I went out for a walk every day after finishing the infusion. Coincidentally, the wind that day was force 5 or 6! (Later, I invited Dr. Chengkong to treat me, and he said absolutely do not expose yourself to wind!) Also, because I stopped Dr. Chengkong's medicine due to hospitalization, my lower back soreness became severe. The hospital examination said I had lumbar muscle strain and just needed rest. I was nearly furious and called my father to say I wanted to discharge. My father knew I had kidney problems and said the doctor was talking nonsense. However, initially, he still let me see the best internal medicine doctor. I said: You are the one who always talks about the best internal medicine doctor! Only then did my father let me discharge!
It has been over a month since discharge. I have been taking Dr. Chengkong's medicine, so my body has recovered significantly! The facial paralysis has also improved greatly!
Here, I sincerely thank Mr. San Qi and Dr. Chengkong. They truly saved me!! It is the power of national essence TCM!!!

Hello everyone, first reposting a post as follows:
Asking seniors and fellow students, how does TCM explain this matter, and what is the relationship between colds and viral myocarditis? A flower-aged youth died unjustly in the hospital. (Original post on Tianya Forum)
Grieving Mother Vows to Seek Justice
(Narrated by Hu Qiman)
My name is Hu Qiman, living on Tongtai Street, Changsha City, Hunan Province. I am a middle-aged housewife with no economic income. My only son, Hu Xi, is only sixteen years old. Usually, he is a smart, lively, and sensible boy. He studies at Mingde Middle School, Grade 10. During school, he always studied hard, was healthy, and was loved by teachers and students. At 2 PM on March 25th, because my son suffered from a cold, I went to the outpatient department of Changsha First Hospital in Hunan Province with trust and piety. The doctor measured his temperature at 38.1°C, tested his blood and said it was slightly high, but the doctor also said "normal," don't worry, just take some medicine. At that time, I said the child needs to study, wouldn't an injection make him recover faster? The doctor prescribed cold medicine for my son and gave him an IV drip. Unexpectedly, the next morning (the 26th) around 6 AM, my son shouted of thirst, sweated all over, and said he felt very uncomfortable. I didn't dare to ignore it and rushed to the emergency room of the hospital at 7:45 AM. The doctor casually said the medicine used yesterday was too cheap and needed to switch to better medicine for efficacy. We dared not doubt the doctor's analysis and diagnosis at all, and immediately switched to the most expensive drugs for IV infusion in the emergency room.
