This formula treats belching and acid regurgitation after eating, clears heat, directs qi downward, and is applicable in most cases similar to the previous text. However, adjust according to seasons: In spring, autumn, winter, and summer, remove Shizhuyu and add Gouqi (Lycium Fruit) 1 jin; In June, add Xiaomai (Wheat Grain) 1 sheng, Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) 3 liang; In autumn, remove Shigao and add Gancao (Licorice Root) 1 liang; In September, remove Mahuang (Ephedra Herb) and add Ganjiang (Dried Ginger) 1 liang; In October, add Xiong (Ligusticum Rhizome) 3 fen. Qianjin Fang records: If Ezu persists for months without cure, or if improper administration of cold/hot medicines leads to pathological changes such as exogenous heat, irritability, thirst, and oral ulcers, remove Jupi (Tangerine Peel) and Xixin (Asarum Root), use Qianhu (Peucedani Radix) and Zhimu (Anemarrhenae Rhizome) each 2 liang. If it transforms into cold dysentery, remove Dihuang (Rehmannia Root) and use Guixin (Cinnamon Twig) 2 liang.
