Regarding the manifestations of Wind-Damp Bi Syndrome (Wind-Dampness Obstruction Syndrome), some patients experience numb and thick skin, while others suffer from sore and painful muscles. This condition arises when Wind, Cold, and Dampness pathogens mix and invade the body, combining to form Bi Syndrome. When Wind-Dampness pathogens are predominant, it may also lead to flaccidity and abdominal fullness.
Additionally, it is recorded: Massage the abdomen with hands, moving from the feet up to the head; lie supine in a straight posture and extend the arms for Qigong guidance exercises; hold the feet with hands keeping them still, allow the arms to stretch freely, hold the breath without breathing for twelve cycles, to treat unbearable symptoms caused by Bi-Dampness and pain in the waist and spine. (From Volume I)
