Administration and External Treatment: Decoct and take according to standard methods; externally apply Gan Zhu Gao (Indigo Naturalis Ointment) to the affected area. For enhanced efficacy, add more Aw ei (Asafoetida) and Shexiang (Moschus, musk). (Details of these herbs are found in the first volume of this book).
Furong Neituo San (Hibiscus Internal-Supporting Powder): Treats Bi Du (bubo/groin abscess) that has formed pus, particularly in patients with deficient Yuan Qi (primordial qi).
Ingredients: Furonghua (Flos Hibisci Mutabilis, hibiscus flower) (2 qian), Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Chuanshanjia (Squama Manis, pangolin scale), Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum), Lianqiao (Fructus Forsythiae), Mubiezi (Semen Momordicae, bitter melon seed) (each 1 qian).

Moxibustion Methods:
Method 1: Apply Yangsui Dingzi (Yang-sun moxa cone/device) to the affected area, performing five to seven moxa cones (zhuang). Cover with Gan Zhu Gao (Indigo Naturalis Ointment). For cases where pus has formed, slight discharge leads to resolution; for ulcerated cases, it facilitates rupture and promotes easier healing/contraction.
Method 2: Depending on the left or right side of the lesion, use the patient's middle finger length as a measurement unit (zezi). Measure from the transverse crease at the end of the palm along the midline of the arm to the end of the measurement unit; this point is the acupoint. Perform three moxa cones using wheat-grain-sized moxa here. Swelling subsides and pain stops.
Method 3: Moxa the tip of the great toe.
Shuangjie San (Double-Resolving Powder): Treats Spleen-Blood Pain in women, enabling toxins to exit via the large intestine and heat to exit via the small intestine.
