Ehe (Malignant Nodules) refers to hard nodules suddenly appearing in the deep muscle layer, varying in size from that of a plum or cherry to a small bean. The skin and flesh feel stinging pain, and the nodules wander around the body, arising abruptly. This condition is caused by Wind pathogen combined with Heat toxicity, resembling Shegong Du (a toxin disease attributed to water or air). Initially, there is no fixed location, often accompanied by dull pain. If not treated promptly, the toxin enters the abdominal Zang-Fu organs, causing chest stuffiness, irritability, and aversion to cold.
