Ant-cancer (Yi Chuang) is caused by the essence of ants entering the body through diet, penetrating the five zang organs, and flowing through the meridians. It often settles in the neck and throat area, forming sores that initially appear as small nodules and eventually spread over the entire body.

The term "Yi Qie Chuang" (All Sores) refers to various types of sores that originate from different causes and present with diverse symptoms once formed. This name implies that a single formula can treat them all, not that multiple diseases merge into one sore. There are also thirty-six classical formulas listed here without specific order. Additionally, there are sores caused by the aggregation of insects such as dung beetles (Qiang Lang) and earthworms (Qiu Yin). These conditions involve heat pathogenic factors interacting within the body, causing palpable nodules that eventually ulcerate.
