Teeth are the culmination of bones and are nourished by marrow. If Kidney Qi is deficient, wind-cold pathogenic factors invade the meridians, leading to deficiency of marrow and weakness of blood, which fails to nourish the teeth. The following symptoms and treatments arise:
**Formula for treating yellow and black, dry, and lusterless teeth: Digupi San (Ground Bark Powder)**

* *Chuan Shengma* (Rhizoma Cimicifugae, 1.5 liang)
* *Ben* (Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong, 1 liang)
Pulverize the above herbs into a fine powder. Take 1 qian each time, wrap in cotton, hold in the mouth, and swallow saliva frequently.

The collateral branches of the Hand-Yangming Meridian enter the teeth, and the Foot-Taiyang Meridian also covers the teeth. As the culmination of bones and nourished by marrow, if the meridians are deficient, wind pathogens take advantage of the weakness, causing gum recession, loose teeth, and pain. It is suitable to use **Han Liuzhi Tang (Willow Branch Decoction)**.

* *Digupi* (Cortex Lycii Radicis)
