Bark from old pine trees is ground into fine powder and taken with one bowl of thin porridge, three times a day. Recovery is certain within three days.
Additionally, collect bark from Chinese Toon trees (both red and white varieties) during normal times. Separate the red and white barks and grind each into powder separately, storing them in different bottles. When symptoms occur, take two to three qian mixed with white sugar. Use the red powder for bloody dysentery, the white powder for non-bloody dysentery, and both for bloody and non-bloody dysentery combined. (This method costs nothing and is considered meritorious.)

Alternatively, Xanthium sibiricum powder is taken one qian before meals mixed with porridge water. Alternatively, Natrii Sulfas, Lonicerae Japonicae Flos, and Galla Chinensis, each three qian, are decocted in water for multiple fumigations and washes.
Spider silk is wrapped around the hemorrhoid, causing it to fall off naturally.
Tartary Buckwheat flour and Pig Bile are formed into pills. Three qian are taken with boiled water every morning, or Calamus Powder is applied externally.

One sheet of mulberry paper used for filtering silkworms is sun-dried. The empty silkworm casings are scraped off with a small knife, and the paper is dried over a tile until yellow. It is taken with good Shaoxing wine.
One pinch of Zanthoxylum seed is ground fine and taken with water on an empty stomach, three qian per dose.
Boehmeria root is mashed and used for sitz baths, or water from sharpening butcher knives is drunk.
An old straw shoe sole is heated, kneaded, and applied.
Alternatively, fingernails are burned to ash while retaining their properties. The affected area is first moistened with sesame oil, then the nail ash is sprinkled on it.
Alternatively, Asystasia gangetica decoction is used for fumigation and washing.
Alternatively, Galla Chinensis powder is applied externally.
Alternatively, a piece of Coriander is burned to produce smoke for fumigation. Alternatively, Equisetum ramosissimum is burned to retain its properties, ground into powder, sprinkled on, and pressed. Alternatively, six qian of melon seeds (half raw, half processed) are ground together into powder and taken down with yellow wine. Alternatively, distiller's grains from yellow wine are packed into two bags, steamed hot, and used as cushions. They are replaced when they cool.
