上作一服，水二盅，生姜三片，红枣一枚，煎一盅，不拘时服。
治痰饮蓄于心胃，怔忡不已。

熟地黄（酒蒸，焙，各半两）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸，如梧桐子大，以朱砂为衣，每服五十丸，不拘时用枣汤送下。
Treats palpitations (Zhenchong, a condition characterized by heart palpitations and restlessness) caused by excessive thinking that consumes Heart Blood. Once Heart Blood is damaged, the Shen (Spirit) has no foundation to reside in. Consequently, there are symptoms of palpitations, mental confusion, propensity for sadness and worry, lackluster complexion, insomnia at night, and occasionally turbid urine.
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, remove rhizome, soak in wine), Huangqi (Radix Astragali Membranacei, remove rhizome), Yuanzhi (Radix Polygalae Tenuifoliae, referred to as Xiaocao here), Suanzaoren (Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, stir-fry, remove shell), Baiziren (Semen Platycladi Orientis, stir-fry), Fushen (Poria with Hostwood, remove wood), Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae, avoid heating), Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis Japonici, remove core), Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Renshen (Radix Ginseng, remove rhizome), Zhiyingshi (Hematitum, grind into powder), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, honey-fried). Each ingredient: 1 qian.
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water, three slices of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), and one Hongzao (Fructus Jujubae). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
Treats palpitations persisting due to Phlegm-Fluid accumulation in the Heart and Stomach.
Chifuling (Poria, remove skin), Banxia (Rhizoma Pinelliae Ternatae, soak in boiling water), Fushen (Poria with Hostwood, remove wood), Maidong (Radix Ophiopogonis Japonici, remove core), Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, remove white pith). Each ingredient: 1.5 qian. Chenxiang (Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum, avoid heating), Binglang (Semen Arecae), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, honey-fried). Each ingredient: 1 qian.
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water and five slices of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
Treats deficiency syndromes with palpitations caused by retained Fluids.
Jiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis, raw), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Fuling (Poria, remove skin), Banxiaqu (Massa Medicata Fermentata prepared with Pinellia, referred to as Banxia Qu here). Each ingredient: 2 qian. Rougui (Cortex Cinnamomi, remove bark), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, honey-fried). Each ingredient: 0.5 qian.
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water, three slices of Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens), and one Hongzao (Fructus Jujubae). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
Treats palpitations below the heart caused by Water-Qi.

Treats persistent palpitations, excessive phlegm, and mental confusion due to Heart Blood deficiency and cold.
Longchi (Os Draconis), Yuanzhi (Radix Polygalae Tenuifoliae, remove core, decoct with Gancao), Suanzaoren (Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, stir-fry, remove shell, grind), Guanzi (Cortex Cinnamomi Cassiae, remove bark, avoid heating), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, remove rhizome, soak in wine), Hupo (Electrum), Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata, processed, remove skin and navel, slice, soak overnight in Shengjiang juice). Each ingredient: 1 liang. Nanxing (Rhizoma Arisaematis, chop finely, soak overnight in Shengjiang juice). Each ingredient: 1 liang. Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae, avoid heating), Chenxiang (Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum, grind separately, avoid heating), Zhiyingshi (Hematitum, quench in vinegar), Shudihuang (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata, steam with wine, dry-roast). Each ingredient: 0.5 liang.
Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds. Coat with Zhusha (Cinnabaris). Take 50 pills per dose at any time, delivered with Zao Tang (Jujube decoction).
