Treats cold-type Huoluan (cholera-like syndrome with cold pathogen), presenting with vomiting and diarrhea.

Treats Huoluan characterized by excess cold, manifesting as cold flesh and absent pulse.
Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu, 3 qian, stir-fried) Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi, 2 qian, processed) Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin, not exposed to direct fire) Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui) Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata (Gancao, roasted, 1 qian each) Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) Akebiae Caulis (Mutong) Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin, 0.5 qian each)
Combine the above as one dose. Add two zhong of water and half a zhong of wine, seven slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and one date. Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.

Treats cold-type Huoluan with muscle cramps (Zhuanjin) and cold extremities.

Treats the stagnation of Qi due to seven emotions within the five Zang organs, mutual restriction, disharmony of Yin and Yang, sudden violent disorder, with simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea.
Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum (Banxia, soaked in decoction) Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Nanpu) Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao) Poria (Fuling, 2 qian each) Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin) Perillae Folium (Zisu) Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Juhong) Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 1 qian each)
Combine the above as one dose. Add two zhong of water, seven slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and one date. Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.

Treats Huoluan with muscle cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, and persistent headache.

Treats Huoluan with vomiting and diarrhea, accompanied by muscle cramps and restlessness.
Chaenomelis Fructus (Suumu, 3 qian) Evodiae Fructus (Wuzhuyu, washed and stir-fried) Foeniculi Fructus (Huixiang, stir-fried, 2 qian each) Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Praeparata (Gancao, 1 qian, roasted)
Combine the above as one dose. Add two zhong of water, five slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and ten leaves of Perillae Folium (Zisu). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take before meals.

Treats excessive drinking triggered by latent summerheat, leading to abdominal distension, Huoluan, and dysentery/diarrhea. Treats all these conditions.

Combine the above as one dose. Add two zhong of water, five slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang), and three stalks of Allii Fistulosi Bulbus (Congbai). Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.

Treats Huoluan with vomiting and diarrhea; the effect is miraculous.
