Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Sha Ren (Amomi Fructus) (each 5 qian), Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma), Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Shu Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Hou Po (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Xiang Fu (Cyperi Rhizoma) (each 1 liang), Hai Jin Sha (Lygodii Spora), Yin Chong Sha (unknown substance, likely a specific mineral or processed insect product mentioned in local texts), Ce Bai Ye (Biota Top Leaf) (each 2 liang), Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus), Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) (each 5 qian), Fen Cao (Licorice Root) (2.5 qian). All herbs are ground into fine powder together. Use one black-bone rooster as an external vehicle, preferably from three years ago. Kill it with a bamboo knife. Remove feathers, blood, head, feet, and internal organs. Wash clean. Take one sheng of aged wine. Divide the herb powder into three parts. Put one part into the chicken's stomach, one part into the wine decoction, and reserve one part for later use. Cook thoroughly using mild and strong fire. Dismantle the chicken bones, boil down to extract the original juice. Take the chicken meat, bones, and herb powder, dry them, and grind into fine powder. Mix evenly with the reserved herb powder. Form pills using rice paste. Take fifty pills daily on an empty stomach, washed down with wine.

([Wu's Note] The Wuji Wan (Black Chicken Pill) in the previous volume has pure and mild properties, functioning similarly to Guangdong Baifeng Wan (White Phoenix Pill), making it an excellent gynecological agent. This pill heavily uses metallic and mineral substances; how can it be taken regularly? If Hai Jin Sha and Yin Chong Sha are removed, it becomes a modification of Bazhen Tang (Eight Treasure Decoction), which is also usable.)

For women aged twenty-seven or twenty-eight, experiencing physical fatigue and lassitude, poor appetite, and continuous dripping of menstrual blood (Jing Shui Shi Shi Lin Li Bu Zhi), which may appear as clumps or flakes, or flow as red, white, or yellow watery discharge. Divide into four doses for decoction. Add three slices of fresh ginger. If coughing occurs, add Wu Wei Zi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus) and Xing Ren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum) (each 3 qian). If there is shortness of breath, add Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) and Su Ye (Perillae Folium) (each 2 qian). If diarrhea occurs, add Dou Kou (Tsaoko Fructus) and Su Ke (Papaveris Pericarpium) (each 2 qian). If abdominal pain occurs, add Zhi Qiao (Aurantii Fructus), Yan Hu Suo (Corydalis Rhizoma), and Gan Qi (Phytolaccae Radix) (each 3 qian). If the condition is deficiency-cold, one may take the previously mentioned Bu Jing Tang (Supplement Menstruation Decoction) or Wuji Wan (Black Chicken Pill) to nourish heart blood. If dry mouth and tidal fever occur, Wuji Wan should not be used; instead, take Bazhen San (Eight Treasure Powder) to support the spleen and stomach. Strictly avoid taking medications indiscriminately. If menstruation has been absent for half a year, Tiao Jing San (Regulate Menstruation Powder) can be used for treatment.

For women aged twenty-nine or thirty, who have given birth repeatedly over consecutive years, leading to scattered qi and deficient blood, resulting in disharmony of the meridians. Menstruation may cease for two or three months, accompanied by intermittent abdominal pain and formation of blood clumps. There is daytime fatigue and nighttime fever, along with reduced appetite and lack of desire to think. This is due to blood deficiency and stomach heat, or caused by overwork and exhaustion. First, take Hong Hua Dang Gui San (Red Flower and Angelica Powder), followed by Ba Wu Tang (Eight Substance Decoction).
