A woman aged twenty-three or twenty-four suffers from fullness and distension in the heart and abdomen, qi rising to block the diaphragm, loss of appetite, and masses forming in the abdomen (Jia Ju). This is caused by tidal fever after menstruation followed by the mistaken consumption of raw and cold foods, leading to the accumulation of phlegm-fluids (Tan Yin). If not treated early, it will lead to serious complications.
