When the fetus is injured by falling or striking, the treatment focuses on expelling blood stasis and generating new blood. Taking Foshou San (Buddha's Hand Powder) yields miraculous effects. If there is fetal movement in the abdomen, add Yimucao (Herba Leonuri). After taking the medicine, if the pain stops, both mother and child will be safe. If the fetus is already damaged, foul blood will flow frequently; additionally add Xiangfu (Rhizoma Cyperi, processed with children's urine), Yimucao (Herba Leonuri), and Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae). Decoct to a thick liquid and take. If caused by falling from a height, resulting in abdominal pain, bleeding, and restlessness, add Shengdi (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata) and Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) to tonify and calm the fetus. If there is severe abdominal pain and bleeding, add Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Fuling (Poria), Zhi Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata), Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), and Sharen (Fructus Amomi, crushed).
