[Da] In general, when a woman's Shaoyin pulse is rapid and slippery, sores will inevitably develop in the vagina, known as "Shi Chuang" (Erosive Sores). These may present with pain or itching, feeling as if insects are crawling, discharging pus, and causing severe erosion of the genitalia until almost destroyed. This is entirely due to mental restlessness and depression, combined with weak Stomach Qi, leading to stagnation of Qi and Blood. Therefore, the classics state: "All pain, itching, and sores belong to the Heart." It also states: "The Yangming channel governs the muscles; pain and itching belong to the Heart." Treatment should focus on tonifying the Heart and nourishing the Stomach, supplemented by external fumigation, washing, or suppository therapies.
[Xue] The aforementioned syndrome is caused by Liver and Spleen Qi stagnation, where excessive Wood energy generates parasites. It is appropriate to resolve stagnation and clear Liver heat. See the section on miscellaneous diseases regarding "Sores in the Vagina" for details.
A postpartum woman who had a history of Liver Fire developed this condition with internal ulceration, itching, and pain, reduced appetite, fever, thirst, and dribbling urination. She was treated with Jia Wei Xiao Yao San (Modified Free and Easy Wanderer Powder) and Jia Wei Gui Pi Tang (Modified Restore the Spleen Decoction) taken concurrently, interspersed with Lu Hui Wan (Aloe Pill), and externally washed with a decoction of He Shi Cao (Chrysanthemum Indicum Herb), resulting in recovery.
*Qian Jin Fang*: Pu Huang (Polygoni Cattleyani Pollen, 3 sheng) and Shui Yin (Mercurius, 1 liang). Grind these two ingredients evenly and apply as powder to the affected area.
Another prescription: 10 jin of fatty pork meat and 1 shuo of water. Boil the water for soaking. Replace with fresh warm solution when it cools down; no more than two or three changes are needed.
Xi Tuo Tang Formula (Wash and Apply Decoction):
Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang), Gan Xi (Caulis Cissampelidos, 1 liang), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix, 2 liang), Gan Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 2 liang), Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, 2 liang), Shao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, 2 liang), Gui Jia (Testudinis et Chelonis Carapax et Plastrum, 5 liang).
Finely cut the above herbs. Add 7 sheng of water and boil until half remains. Soak cotton cloth in the decoction and apply to the sores. Change frequently. Apply twice daily. Each application allows for walking approximately ten li before the cloth dries. Remove the cloth, take Gan Shi San (Moistening Powder) and thinly sprinkle it over the sores to cover them completely. This can last for half a day. Then re-apply the decoction wash, followed by the powder again as before.
My family's maid suffered from this disease without improvement despite medical treatment. The eroded area formed two deep ulcers, half an cun deep. I consulted this formula and used Ran She Dan San (Rattlesnake Gallbladder Powder) myself. Within seven days, the ulcers healed flatly. It is highly effective. I have treated dozens of people successfully with this method. Please disseminate it widely.
Gan Shi San (Moistening Powder), also known as Ran She Dan San (Rattlesnake Gallbladder Powder). Treats Yin erosion caused by Chan worms (parasitic infections).
Ran She Dan (Bungarus multicinctus Gallbladder, authentic), Qing Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Shi Liu Huang (Sulfur), Tie Jing (Ferrum), She Xiang (Moschus). (Each 4 fen. Adjust dosage according to circumstances. Moschus repels snake venom; if mixed beforehand, the Rattlesnake Gallbladder loses efficacy. Old methods used frogs caught on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month.)
Grind the six ingredients into equal parts into fine powder. For patients, take an amount equivalent to three chess pieces, mix with well water, and take twice daily. After administration, ensure bowel movement is clear. Then fumigate the lower part with the following Peach Branch method. Take the medicine (size of a chess piece), place it in a bamboo tube, and blow it into the vagina. Use twice; reduce dose for elderly or weak patients. Fumigation is done once daily; no need to repeat excessively for good results.
Formula for treating Chan worms eroding the lower part and five Zang organs. Take 37 branches from the southeast side of a peach tree. Lightly crush the heads to loosen them; wrap in cotton. Grind Shi Liu Huang (Sulfur) into powder. Wrap the cotton-wrapped branch in the powder, twisting to make the powder thick. Cut a short bamboo tube and insert it into the vagina. Ignite the powder-coated branch and fumigate the area.
Wen Zhong's formula for severe Yin erosion. Mix Toad and Rabbit Urine in equal parts into powder and apply. Effective.
Ye Lang Ya Tang (Wild Wolf Tooth Decoction) (*Gu Jin Lu Yan*). Treats female Yin erosion with rotting wounds, dripping purulent fluid, and foul odor.
Ye Lang Ya (Ilicis Cornu, 3 liang).
Cut into pieces. Boil in 4 sheng of water until reduced to 0.5 sheng. Strain. Add Ku Jiu (Vinegar) the size of a chicken egg yolk. Dissolve in one cup of boiling water. At night, when temperature is comfortable, wrap a chopstick head with cotton (size of a cocoon). Dip in the decoction and drip into the sore. Do this four to five times daily until cured.
*Bu Yi* (Supplement) treats sores in the vaginal opening after childbirth.
Qing Dai (Indici Folium), Huang Dan (Minii Rubrum), Shui Fen (Cerussa), Wu Bei Zi (Galla Chinensis). (Equal parts, ground into powder).
Burn the meat-wiping cloths from butcher shops into powder. Mix with the above medicines. First, wash with a decoction of Jing Jie (Schizonepetae Herba), Bo He (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba), and Bai Ye (Platycladi Cacumen). Then apply the powder. If the sore is dry, mix the powder with oil and apply.
Another formula: Ping Wei San (Calm the Stomach Powder) plus Guan Zhong (Cyrtomii Rhizoma) powder. Take 2 qian. Mix with cooked pig liver and insert into the vagina.
