In women, blood wind causing palpitations and fright occurs because wind pathogen attacks the Heart. The Heart stores the Shen (Spirit) and is the master of all zang organs. If palpitations and fright do not cease, they may transform into mental confusion, anxiety, and fear. (Pai Feng Tang can also be used)
