When a person suddenly suffers from unbearable dull pain in the chest, back, hands, feet, neck, back, waist, and hips, radiating to the bones and sinews with pulling pain, restlessness in sitting and lying down, and pain that wanders unpredictably, unskilled physicians may not understand it, calling it "Zou Zhu" (Wandering Affliction). Using wind-dispelling drugs and acupuncture are of no benefit. Suspecting it is wind-toxin accumulation turning into carbuncle or ulcer, and indiscriminately applying medicinal plasters is also incorrect. This condition arises from phlegm-fluid retention lurking above and below the heart and diaphragm, manifesting as this disease. It may cause severe headache preventing head lifting, mental confusion, lethargy, excessive sleepiness, loss of taste, thick and sticky sputum, sawing sounds in the throat at night, excessive salivation, heavy limbs, cold legs, and obstruction of Spleen Qi and pulse. Misdiagnosing it as hemiplegia is also incorrect. For anyone with this disease, using this medicine for just a few doses will make the illness disappear.
Gansui (Kansui Root) (heart removed) Daji (Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix) (skin removed) Zhen Baijiezi (White Mustard Seed) (equal parts, stir-fried)

Treats arm pain extending to muscles, radiating to the shoulder blades, occurring intermittently. This is due to abnormal circulation of Ying and Wei Qi (Nutritive and Defensive Qi), stagnation in the meridians, and conflict with healthy Qi. The pain, when it occurs, resembles hemiplegia.
