肺与大肠为表里，盖肺蕴热则秘结不通，肺脏虚寒则肛门外脱。因儿久患泻痢，肠胃内虚，或因病后气虚下陷，亦
令脱肛。下失久不治，外为风湿所乘，则为终身之痼疾矣。凡脱肛之症，内用调理之药为主；外用洗托之药方得效也。
又有父母有痔，生儿有此，照痔症调理之。参苓白术散、助胃膏、启脾丸三方并效。
固肠丸 治气虚脱肛。

等分，为末，糊丸，米汤下。
单方磁石醋 七次，每服一钱，醋汤下；石榴皮汤亦效。
五倍子汤
五倍子（一两） 白矾（五钱）
水煎，先熏后洗，拭干。用木贼草散托上。

为极细末，软绢托上即睡。
鳖头散 治脱肛不收。
鳖头（一个烧存性） 赤石脂（一钱） 冰片（少许）
碾为极细末。艾汤洗净，绢拭干用之。
苦参汤 治脱肛并痔。
苦参（一两） 荆芥 防风 当归 甘草 莲蓬壳 石榴皮（各五钱）
水煎，先熏后洗。
（附阴肿）
小儿疝气偏坠，与大人颇同，但幼小难于用药耳。皆因下部受寒，又为风湿所乘，气血凝结而成斯疾。或久坐湿地，
夏月阴地取凉，或坐于石上，寒气入肾，气结不散，不为此症者鲜矣。或父有此疾，儿胎受之，产下百日或一周
而成斯疾，
尤为难治。又有阴肿及囊肿。光浮可畏。此皆湿热为疾，不妨。或坐地蚓吹，亦能作肿。照后方治之。
指迷汤 治偏坠疝气，不俱大小并效。

共为末，炼蜜丸，盐汤或酒服。大人二钱，小儿减半。
偏坠丸
雄壳树叶（不拘多少，晒干为末，每两加） 沉香（五分） 橘核（五分） 木香（三分）
酒糊为丸。大人二钱，小儿减半，空心白滚汤下。
浸酒方 治偏坠疝气并效，大小俱可服。

消肾散 治肾感寒之气，偏坠疝气举发冲心，小腹 痛，及外肾囊浮肿并效。

茅山术（一斤，四制。青盐一两、川练肉三两、破故纸三两、小茴香三两）
加四物汤共为末，炼蜜为丸。盐汤下；盐酒更好。
吴茱萸丸 治症同前神效。
吴茱萸（一斤，四制。童便、酒、醋、盐，各浸一宿炒） 苍术（四两） 木香 泽泻（各二两）
为末，醋糊为丸。醋汤空心下。
偏坠方 此方甚效，二三岁五分，大人倍用。
大红石弹子（一个，烧红，入好酒一斤内） 皂角（数条，烧灰存性） 木香 大茴香
三味，等分为末。每服五分、一钱，此酒送下。
加味青娥丸 治症同前，并止腰痛。
故纸（半斤） 杜仲（四两，盐酒炒） 苍术（四两） 当归（二两） 川芎 小茴香 大茴香（各一两五钱）
为末，蜜丸。看大小加减，盐汤下。
立消饮 治疝气。
天门冬（五钱） 乌药（二钱五分）
水煎，临服，加酒少许服。
单方（二道）
木耳二两，炒焦，倾酒一壶于内，煎滚。徐徐饮之。
屋上葫芦经霜者，烧灰为末，空心酒服。
立消疝气方 偏坠亦效。
大茴香（二两） 小茴香（二两） 冬瓜仁（五钱） 陈皮（一两）
为末。将犍猪肚洗净，入药于内，线缝好。酒五斤，煮熟，吃肚，吃酒，随意徐徐食之。药渣炒干为末，酒调，空
心服。药完病愈。
蝉蜕散 治阴囊浮肿，或风湿所乘，或虫蚁吹者。
蝉蜕（五钱）
水煎淋洗。将渣用葱白十茎煨熟，捣烂敷上，青绢缚之。
内服五苓散，加灯心二十寸，水煎。
蚯蚓粪，鸡子清调敷，甘草汤调亦可。
灸法 小儿偏坠疝气，灸囊后缝十字纹上三壮。
昆仑二穴，在内踝后五分，筋骨陷中。各三壮。
The Lung and Large Intestine are exteriorly-interiorly related. If heat accumulates in the Lung, it leads to constipation and blockage; if the Lung is deficient and cold, it causes prolapse of the anus. Because children suffer from chronic diarrhea and dysentery, causing internal deficiency of the Spleen and Stomach (digestive system), or due to Qi deficiency sinking after illness, prolapse of the anus also occurs. If lower prolapse is not treated for a long time, external invasion by Wind-Dampness will result in a lifelong stubborn disease. For symptoms of anal prolapse, internal treatment with regulating herbs is primary; external application of washing and supporting herbs yields effectiveness. Additionally, if parents have hemorrhoids, their children may be born with this condition; it should be regulated according to hemorrhoid symptoms. Shenling Baizhu San (Ginseng, Poria, and Atractylodes Macrocephala Powder), Zhugao Paste, and Qipi Wan (Spleen-Initiating Pill) are all effective.
Guchang Wan (Intestine-Securing Pill) treats Qi-deficiency-induced anal prolapse.
Longgu (Fossilized Bones), Hezi (Chebula Fruit), Meishizi (Areca Seed), Suké (Poppy Shell), Chishizhi (Red Kaolin).
Equal parts, ground into powder, made into pills with paste, taken with rice soup.
Single prescription: Cishi (Magnetite) quenched in vinegar seven times. Take one qian per dose, with vinegar soup; Shiliupi (Pomegranate Peel) decoction is also effective.
Wubeizi Tang (Five-Gallnut Decoction)
Wubeizi (Five-Gallnut, 1 liang), Baifan (Alum, 5 qian).
Decoct in water, fumigate first then wash, dry with cloth. Use Muzei Cao San (Equisetum Powder) to support upwards.
Muzei Cao San (Equisetum Powder)
Muzei Hui (Equisetum Ash, 5 qian), Longgu (Fossilized Bones), Kufan (Burnt Alum, 1.5 qian each).
Grind into extremely fine powder, use soft silk to support upwards and sleep immediately.
Bie Tou San (Softshell Turtle Head Powder) treats irreducible anal prolapse.
Bie Tou (Softshell Turtle Head, one, calcined), Chishizhi (Red Kaolin, 1 qian), Bingpian (Borneol, a little).
Grind into extremely fine powder. Wash with Muguzhen Tang (Mugwort Water), dry with silk, and apply.
Kushen Tang (Sophora Root Decoction) treats anal prolapse with hemorrhoids.
Kushen (Sophora Root, 1 liang), Jingjie (Schizonepeta), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis), Gancao (Licorice), Lianpengke (Lotus Pod Shell), Shiliupi (Pomegranate Peel, 5 qian each).
Decoct in water, fumigate first then wash.

Pediatric hernia and scrotal swelling are similar to adults, but medication is difficult for the young. This arises because the lower part is invaded by Cold, compounded by Wind-Dampness, causing Qi and Blood stagnation. Or sitting on damp ground, seeking coolness in shady places in summer, or sitting on stones, allowing Cold to enter the Kidney, leading to Qi knotting without dispersing; few escape this condition. If the father has this disease, the fetus inherits it; appearing within 100 days or a week after birth, it is particularly difficult to treat. There are also cases of scrotal swelling and cysts, bright and swollen, which are frightening. These are caused by Damp-Heat and are not life-threatening. Sitting on the ground and being "blown" by earthworms can also cause swelling. Treat according to the following prescriptions.
Zhimí Tang (Pointing-to-Mystery Decoction) treats scrotal hernia, effective regardless of size.
Qingpi (Green Tangerine Peel), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Juhe (Tangerine Seed, stir-fried), Xiaohuixiang (Small Fennel, stir-fried), Dahuixiang (Large Fennel), Mutong (Akebia), Zexie (Alisma), Zhuling (Polyporus), Fuling (Poria), Wuyao (Lindera), Yizhiren (Bitter Apricot Seed), Chuanlianrou (Cornus Fruit), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, salted wine stir-fried).
Equal parts, add three Walnut Meat pieces, decoct in water and take. Adults use seven walnuts.
Zhihan Shenfang (Divine Formula for Hernia) treats hernia and scrotal swelling, effective for all sizes.
Chuanlianrou (Cornus Fruit), Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit), Zisu (Perilla), Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel, 1 qian each), Banxia (Pinellia, processed), Gancao (Licorice, 6 fen each).
Three stalks of Congbai (Scallion White), three slices of Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger), decoct in wine, take hot on an empty stomach to induce sweating.
Formula for Hernia and Scrotal Swelling
Zexie (Alisma, 1 qian), Huixiang (Fennel, 8 fen), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala, 7 fen), Juhe (Tangerine Seed, 1 qian, stir-fried and crushed), Binglang (Betel Nut, 5 fen), Rougui (Cinnamon Bark, 5 fen), Mutong (Akebia, 5 fen), Chifu (Red Poria, 7 fen), Zhuling (Polyporus, 1 qian), Jinlingzi (Melia Toosendan Fruit, 7 fen).
Decoct in water, take before meals.
Shanqi Wan (Hernia Pill)
Chenxiang (Agarwood), Muxiang (Costus Root, 5 qian each), Chuanlianrou (Cornus Fruit), Dahuixiang (Large Fennel), Xiaohuixiang (Small Fennel), Qingpi (Green Tangerine Peel), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Shancharou (Hawthorn Flesh), Lihe (Lychee Seed), Juhe (Tangerine Seed, stir-fried and crushed), Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit, 2 liang each).
Grind together into powder, make pills with refined honey, take with salt soup or wine. Adults take 2 qian, children take half.
Pianzhui Wan (Scrotal Drooping Pill)
Xiongqiao Shuye (Male Oak Leaf, as needed, dried and powdered, added per liang), Chenxiang (Agarwood, 5 fen), Juhe (Tangerine Seed, 5 fen), Muxiang (Costus Root, 3 fen).
Make pills with wine paste. Adults take 2 qian, children take half, take with plain boiling water on an empty stomach.
Jinjǐu Fang (Soaking Wine Formula) treats scrotal hernia effectively for both adults and children.
Danggui (Angelica Sinensis, 1 liang), Xuanhusuo (Corydalis, 1 liang, stir-fried), Muxiang (Costus Root, 5 qian), Dahuixiang (Large Fennel, 1.5 liang), Wuyao (Lindera), Zexie (Alisma, 8 qian), Tiansizi (Dodder Seed, 1 liang, crushed), Chuanlianrou (Cornus Fruit, 1 liang), Muli (Oyster Shell, 8 qian), Ruxiang (Frankincense, 2 qian), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum, 8 qian), Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea, 1 liang), Poguzhi (Cibotium Rhizome, 1.5 liang, bran-stir-fried), Qingpi (Green Tangerine Peel, 1 liang), Fuling (Poria, 2 liang), Taoren (Peach Kernel, 1.5 liang, stir-fried, skin and tip removed, crushed).
Soak in 20 jin of wine. Take 1-2 cups frequently.
Zhi Shen Ru Dou (Treating Kidney Like a Beanbag) - Children do not have this condition; it is very effective for adults.
Qingpi (Green Tangerine Peel), Lizhi (Lychee), Dahuixiang (Large Fennel).
Equal parts, stir-fry until yellow and grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose with wine; can also be made into pills.
Xiaoshen San (Kidney-Reducing Powder) treats Kidney Cold Qi, hernia and scrotal swelling attacking the heart, abdominal pain, and external scrotal edema.
Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala, stir-fried), Fuling (Poria), Zhuling (Polyporus), Zexie (Alisma), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Xiaohuixiang (Small Fennel, stir-fried), Mutong (Akebia), Xuanhusuo (Corydalis, 1 qian each), Guanzi Gui (Cinnamon Twig, 5 fen), Dahui (Large Fennel, 8 fen).
Five Walnut Meats, decoct in water, add a little salt. When taking, add Chuanlianrou (Cornus Fruit) 1 qian.
Congbai San (Scallion White Powder) treats the same symptoms as above.
Zexie (Alisma, 1 qian), Zhuling (Polyporus), Chifuling (Red Poria), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala, stir-fried), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Lizhihe (Lychee Seed, stir-fried and crushed), Chishao (Red Peony Root), Chuanlianrou (Cornus Fruit, 7 fen each), Qingmuxiang (Illicium Costus), Guanzi Gui (Cinnamon Twig), Xiaohuixiang (Small Fennel, 5 fen each).
Five cun of Congbai (Scallion White), decoct in water and take; or grind into powder, make pills with paste, take with salt soup.
Sizhi Cangzhu Wan (Four-Processed Atractylodes Pill) is miraculous for scrotal hernia.
Maoshanshu (Mount Mao Atractylodes, 1 jin, four-processed: Qingyan Salt 1 liang, Chuanlianrou 3 liang, Poguzhi 3 liang, Xiaohuixiang 3 liang).
Add Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction), grind into powder, make pills with refined honey. Take with salt soup; salt wine is better.
Wuzhuyu Wan (Evodia Pill) treats the same symptoms miraculously.
Wuzhuyu (Evodia Fruit, 1 jin, four-processed: Child's urine, wine, vinegar, salt, each soaked overnight then stir-fried), Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea, 4 liang), Muxiang (Costus Root), Zexie (Alisma, 2 liang each).
Grind into powder, make pills with vinegar paste. Take on an empty stomach with vinegar soup.
Pianzhui Fang (Scrotal Drooping Formula) is very effective. Children aged 2-3 take 5 fen, adults double the dose.
Da Hong Shi Danzi (Red Stone Bullet, one, heated red and put into 1 jin of good wine), Zaojiao (Tamarisk Pod, several, burned to ash retaining nature), Muxiang (Costus Root), Dahuixiang (Large Fennel).
Three ingredients, equal parts ground into powder. Take 5 fen or 1 qian, delivered with this wine.
Jiawei Qing'e Wan (Modified Qing'e Pill) treats the same symptoms and stops back pain.
Guzhi (Cibotium Rhizome, 0.5 jin), Duzhong (Eucommia Bark, 4 liang, salted wine stir-fried), Cangzhu (Atractylodes Lancea, 4 liang), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis, 2 liang), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum), Xiaohuixiang (Small Fennel), Dahuixiang (Large Fennel, 1.5 liang each).
Grind into powder, make pills with honey. Adjust dosage based on age, take with salt soup.
Lixiao Yin (Instant Resolution Drink) treats hernia.
Tianmendong (Asparagus Root, 5 qian), Wuyao (Lindera, 2.5 qian).
Decoct in water, add a little wine before taking.
Single Prescriptions (Two):
Black Fungus 2 liang, stir-fry until charred, pour one pot of wine into it, boil. Drink slowly.
Gourd from the roof that has endured frost, burn to ash, grind into powder, take with wine on an empty stomach.
Lixiao Shanqi Fang (Instant Resolution Hernia Formula) is also effective for scrotal drooping.
Dahuixiang (Large Fennel, 2 liang), Xiaohuixiang (Small Fennel, 2 liang), Dongguaren (Winter Melon Seed, 5 qian), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel, 1 liang).
Grind into powder. Clean a castrated pig's stomach, put the medicine inside, sew tightly with thread. Cook in 5 jin of wine. Eat the stomach and drink the wine, eating slowly at will. Dry the dregs, grind into powder, mix with wine, take on an empty stomach. Disease cured when medicine is finished.
Chantui San (Cicada Slough Powder) treats scrotal edema caused by Wind-Dampness or insect bites.
Chantui (Cicada Slough, 5 qian).
Decoct in water for washing. Use the dregs, ten stalks of Congbai (Scallion White) baked until cooked, mashed and applied, bound with green silk.
Internally take Wuling San (Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria), add Dengxincao (Juncus Effusus, 20 cun), decoct in water.
Earthworm feces, mixed with egg white for topical application; mixing with Licorice Soup is also acceptable.
Moxibustion Method: For pediatric scrotal hernia, moxa three cones on the cross-shaped seam behind the scrotum.
Kunlun Acupoint, located 5 fen behind the medial malleolus, in the depression between bone and tendon. Three cones on each side.
