Pork: The nature is slightly cold.
The male pig is called "shi", the castrated male pig is called "jia", and the female pig is called "zhi".

[Avoid] Excessive consumption promotes heat, generates phlegm, and stirs up wind (internal movement). (Therefore, although meat may be abundant, it should not exceed the qi of staple foods. It should be temporarily avoided at the onset of wind-cold disease and after recovery. Because the greasy and sticky nature prevents the dispersion of wind-cold pathogens. Furthermore, after illness, the intestines and stomach are weak and cannot tolerate rich and fatty foods.)
