煎服。
治牙关紧闭。用巴豆压油于纸上，取油纸捻成条子，点火，将火吹灭，以烟熏入鼻中。
随症加减。
半夏曲 苏子（各五分） 甘草 当归（各一钱） 玉桂 陈皮（各三分） 上浓朴（一钱，
加姜枣煎服，治虚火上升）
凡喉牙等症皆可治。
百草霜（六钱） 梅矾（一钱） 甘草（三钱） 诃子肉（三钱，面裹煨） 片脑（不拘多少）
若治缠喉风寒等症，梅矾一钱，甘草三钱，儿茶五钱，须嫩红者佳，珍珠、琥珀各六分
，雄
黄二钱，麝香少许，薄荷一两，又有时去雄黄加蒲黄六钱。若口碎、口疳、走马疳、胎疳、
痘后疳、糜口、雪口、一切诸症，专用黄袍散，薄荷一两，甘草三钱。舌肿大，赤如熟猪肝
色，不能转动，川连三钱，黄柏三钱，片脑不拘。
硼砂（二钱） 五倍子（去蛀，末，二钱）
炒黑末用，治糜口、雪口。
梅矾（三钱） 薄荷（二钱） 儿茶（一钱五分） 乳石（一钱五分， ，水飞） 甘草 火硝
硼砂（各一钱） 冰片（三分）
瓷器收贮，勿可出气。
用枣子大者，去核，入明矾、 倍子、栀子皮、细蟆、人中白，均 ，牛矢尖，在野坟
上取黄牛粪干久者佳，各五钱，珍珠五分，冰片一分。
Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, Liquorice Root and Rhizome), Scrophulariae Radix (Xuanshen, Figwort Root), Peucedani Radix (Qianhu, Hogfennel Root), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe, Mint), Arctii Fructus (Dali Zi, Great Burdock Fruit), Gardeniae Fructus (Shanzhi, Cape Jasmine Fruit), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, Coptis Rhizome), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, Gypsum), Forsythiae Fructus (Lianqiao, Forsythia Fruit), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, Divaricate Saposhnikovia Root), Schizonepetae Herba (Jingjie, Fineleaf Schizonepeta Herb), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng, Platycodon Root).
Decoct and take orally.
For treating lockjaw (trismus). Press Crotonis Fructus (Badou, Croton Seed) to extract oil onto paper, take the oiled paper and twist it into a strip, ignite it, blow out the flame, and use the smoke to fumigate into the patient's nose.
Modify the formula according to symptoms.
Pinelliae Rhizoma Praeparatum cum Zingibere et Alumine (Banxia Qu, Fermented Pinellia Tuber), Perillae Fructus (Suzi, Perilla Fruit) (each 0.5 qian), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, Liquorice Root and Rhizome), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui, Chinese Angelica Root) (each 1 qian), Cinnamomi Cortex (Yugui, Cinnamon Bark), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi, Tangerine Peel) (each 0.3 qian), Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Shang Houpo, Official Magnolia Bark) (1 qian).
Add Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang, Fresh Ginger) and Jujubae Fructus (Dazao, Jujube) for decoction and oral administration, to treat up-flaming of deficiency fire.
All throat and tooth diseases can be treated.
Pulvis Fumi Carbonisatus (Baicaoshuang, Plant Soot) (6 qian), Mumei (Meifan, Alum-processed Mume Fructus) (1 qian), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, Liquorice Root and Rhizome) (3 qian), Chebulae Fructus (Hezi Rou, Terminalia Chebula Fruit Pulp) (3 qian, wrapped in dough and roasted), Borneolum Syntheticum (Piannao, Borneol) (quantity as needed).
For treating acute laryngeal infection (Chanhoufeng) and similar conditions, use Mumei (Meifan, Alum-processed Mume Fructus) 1 qian, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, Liquorice Root and Rhizome) 3 qian, Catechu (Ercha, Cutch) 5 qian (tender red quality is best), Margarita (Zhenzhu, Pearl), Succinum (Hupo, Amber) (each 0.6 qian), Realgar (Xionghuang, Realgar) 2 qian, Moschus (Shexiang, Musk) a small amount, Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe, Mint) 1 liang. Sometimes Realgar is omitted and Typhae Pollen (Puhuang, Cattail Pollen) 6 qian is added instead. For oral ulceration (Kousui), oral gan (Kougan), acute gangrenous stomatitis (Zoumagan), infantile gan (Taigan), post-smallpox gan (Douhougan), erosive stomatitis (Mikou), thrush (Xuekou), and all similar conditions, specifically use Huangpao San (Yellow Robe Powder): Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe, Mint) 1 liang, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, Liquorice Root and Rhizome) 3 qian. For swollen tongue, red like the color of cooked pork liver, and immobile: Coptidis Rhizoma (Chuanlian, Sichuan Coptis Rhizome) 3 qian, Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex (Huangbai, Chinese Cork Tree Bark) 3 qian, Borneolum Syntheticum (Piannao, Borneol) (quantity as needed).
Borax (Pengsha, Borax) (2 qian), Galla Chinensis (Wubeizi, Chinese Gall) (remove worms, powdered, 2 qian).
Stir-fry until black, then powder for use, to treat erosive stomatitis (Mikou) and thrush (Xuekou).
Mumei (Meifan, Alum-processed Mume Fructus) (3 qian), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe, Mint) (2 qian), Catechu (Ercha, Cutch) (1.5 qian), Calamina Praeparata (Rushi, Prepared Calamine) (1.5 qian, calcined, water-ground), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, Liquorice Root and Rhizome), Sal Nitri (Huoxiao, Saltpeter), Borax (Pengsha, Borax) (each 1 qian), Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, Borneol) (0.3 qian).
Store in a porcelain container, must not let air escape.
Use large Jujubae Fructus (Dazao, Jujube), remove the pit, add Alumen (Mingfan, Alum), Galla Chinensis (Wubeizi, Chinese Gall), Gardeniae Fructus Pericarpium (Zhizi Pi, Cape Jasmine Fruit Peel), Xima (details unclear, possibly an insect or mineral), Hominis Urinae Sedimentum (Renzhong Bai, Human Urine Sediment), all calcined, Niushijian (dried cattle dung from old wild graves, aged yellow cattle dung is best), each 5 qian, Margarita (Zhenzhu, Pearl) 0.5 qian, Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, Borneol) 0.1 qian.
