Huapi San: Treats Li Feng (Leprosy) causing Lung Qi stagnation and Wind-Toxin. Symptoms include generalized pruritus.
Ingredients: Broussonetiae Cortex (Hua Pi, 4 liang), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie Sui), Aurantii Fructus (Zhi Ke, stir-fried), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xing Ren, peeled and tip removed, separately ground, 2 liang each), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao, 1 liang, raw and honey-fried half and half), Linum Usitatissimum Seed (Yama, 3 liang).
Preparation and Administration: Grind into powder. Take 4-5 qian per dose, administered after meals with warm wine or rice soup.
Zaizao San: Treats severe Leprosy (Da Feng E Ji), where Ying-Blood is pathologically affected, with symptoms starting in the feet.
Ingredients: Curcumae Aromatae Rhizoma (Yujin, 5 qian; if genuine is unavailable, replace with Arecae Semen Rubrum/Chi Binglang), Rheis Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang, soaked in Saposhnikoviae Decoction, wine-warmed, 1 liang), Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina (Da Zaojiao Ci, stir-fried, 5 qian), Pharbitidis Semen (Bai Qianniu, take the finest powder, 6 qian, raw and stir-fried half and half).
Preparation and Administration: Grind into powder, divide into five doses. Administer at Wugeng time (3-5 AM) mixed with pure wine. After administration, foul matter should be discharged. Avoid all rich flavors, food that induces toxins, and wind-aggravating substances, as well as salt, soy sauce, pickles, vinegar, pepper, ginger, bran, and wheat flour.
Zuixian San: Treats Leprosy causing generalized numbness, where Wei-Qi is pathologically affected, with symptoms starting on the face.
Ingredients: Linum Usitatissimum Seed (Yama, commonly known as Dahuma), Arctii Fructus (Shuniu Zi, stir-fried), Lycii Fructus (Gouqizi), Viticis Fructus (Manjing Zi, stir-fried, 1 liang each), Tamarisci Spina (Bajili, stir-fried, thorns removed), Sophorae Radix (Kushen), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Trichosanthis Radix (Gualou Gen, 5 qian each).
Preparation and Administration: Grind into powder. Take 1.5 liang of powder per dose, mix with 2 qian of Calomelas (Qingfen). Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with clear tea water, once in the morning and once at noon. After 5-7 days of administration, foul saliva will emerge from the gum crevices, making the patient feel intoxicated, or pus and blood may be discharged; only then is the root of the disease eliminated. Dosage should be adjusted according to the patient's strength. For severe cases, first administer Zaizao San to purge, wait 5-7 days for Yuan-Qi to recover, then use this medicine. Avoid all roasted rich flavors; consume only bland congee and vegetables. Boiled weak decoction of Zaocys (Wushaoshe) in wine can be eaten to assist the medicinal power. Alternatively, make pills with water to avoid damaging teeth and gums. This is a Mingxuan (reaction) medicine; stop when the disease is cured. Do not overdose to avoid the risk of gum decay.
Bisheng San: Treats severe Leprosy where both Ying and Wei are diseased, with simultaneous onset above and below.
Ingredients: Arecae Semen Rubrum (Chi Binglang), Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina (Zaojiao Ci, stir-fried, 5 qian each), Rheis Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang, wine-warmed, 1 liang), Pharbitidis Semen (Bai Qianniu, raw, finest powder, 6 qian, half stir-fried), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao, raw and honey-fried, 1 qian each), Calomelas (Qingfen, 2 qian).
Preparation and Administration: Grind into powder. Young adults divide into five doses, middle-aged into seven doses. Each dose is mixed with two spoons of brown sugar or white honey and five spoons of ginger juice. Take before sleep when the abdomen is slightly empty, washed down with ginger soup. By Sangeng time (1-3 AM), generalized numbness like needle pricks occurs, with pain in the head, eyes, and gum crevices; this indicates the medicine is seeking the disease root. Severe cases defecate once every seven days, mild cases once every ten to fifteen days. Three to five courses are sufficient. After the disease recedes, eyebrows and hair gradually grow, and muscles return to normal. If there is blood in the gum crevices, rinse with a decoction of Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) and Cyathulae Root (Guanzhong).
Jiulong Wan: Treats Leprosy causing swelling, itching, and pain.
Ingredients: Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Sophorae Radix (Kushen, 2 liang each), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo, 1.5 liang each), Bombyx Batryticatus (Chantui), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, 5 qian each), Scorpio (Quanxie, soaked in boiling water to remove saltiness, 1 qian), Semendospermatis Cataputiae (Dafengren, 8 liang).

Do not expose to fire or sunlight; dry in shade. Store in cloth bags. Take 3 qian per dose, washed down with clear tea water, three times daily. For disease duration of one year, take one batch; for over ten years, take over ten batches. Alternative formula: reduce Chuanxiong and Chantui, add Dahuma (Linum Usitatissimum Seed) 2 liang, Fengteng 1 liang. If lower body symptoms are severe, add Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi) 2 liang and Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix (Fangji) 1 liang.

Ingredients: Raw Lac (Shengqi), Realgar (Xionghuang, separately ground), Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina (Zaojiao Ci, 4 liang each), Toad Venom (Chansu), Moschus (Shexiang, separately ground, 3 qian each).
Preparation and Administration: Use 3 sheng of water. First boil Zaojiao Ci until reduced to 1 sheng, strain, then add Shengqi. Boil until it resembles silver flowers at 80% maturity. When the floating lac foam disappears and the water dries without sticking to hands, remove from fire. Add Xionghuang, Shexiang, and Chansu. Pound evenly with a wooden pestle. Roll into pills the size of mung beans by multiple hands. Take 50 pills per dose, once at noon and once at Wugeng time, washed down with hot wine. Suitable for Wood-type constitutions.
