女人阴血 （因交接伤动者） 五倍子末掺之良。（《熊氏方》）
Hematemesis (vomiting blood): Collect pomegranate flowers, dry them in the wind, grind them into powder, and blow the powder into the nasal cavity; the condition will be cured immediately. The variety with thousand leaves is particularly effective. (*Wu Rui Bencao*)
Epistaxis (nosebleed) unceasing: Drip mint juice, or boil dried mint in water, wrap it in cotton, and insert it into the nasal cavity. (*Xu Xueshi Benshi Fang*)
Another prescription: Use freshly drawn cold water to wash the feet according to the side of the bleeding; the bleeding will stop. This has been tested repeatedly with effectiveness. (*Ye Shi Zhaixuan Fang*)
Another prescription: Soak paper in cold water, apply it to the fontanelle, and iron it with a heating iron; the bleeding will stop immediately. (*Zhenyuan Guangli Fang*)
Lingual hemorrhage (bleeding from the tongue) and dental gingival hemorrhage (bleeding from the gums): Stir-fried *Polygoni Orientalis Semen* (Puhuang, 蒲黄) and *Turkoise* (Luqing, 螺青), each one qian, ground into powder. Sprinkle the powder on the tongue and rinse the mouth with salt water. (*Mingyi Zhizhang*)
Pediatric epistaxis: Bleeding occurs upon slight exertion. Roast *Auricularia* (Sanger, 桑耳) until charred, grind into powder. At each onset, insert an amount equivalent to an almond into the nasal cavity. Several applications can cure it. (*Zhouhou Fang*)
Gingival bleeding (named Yaxie): Decoct *Cassiae Semen* (Caosuoming, 草决明) in water, hold the liquid in the mouth (Qin, 噙); the bleeding stops immediately. (*Qifang Leibian*)
Bleeding from the gum margin like a thread: Lightly stir-fry *Chrysanthemi Flos* (Huaihua, 槐花), grind into powder. Dip a fingertip into the powder and apply it to the teeth. Continue until hemostasis is achieved. (Ibid.)
Interdental bleeding: Grind *Liquidambar Resina* (Wutonglei, 梧桐泪) into powder. Apply dry powder to the interdental space. If bleeding persists, replace with fresh powder. (*Zhunsheng*)
Another prescription: Dip a paper roll into a small amount of *Bufo Toxin* (Ganchansu, 干蟾酥). Apply to the bleeding site and press; the bleeding stops immediately. (Ibid.)
Otologic hemorrhage (bleeding from the ear): *Moschus* (Shexiang, 麝香) (a small amount), human teeth (calcined to retain efficacy, remove fire toxicity), ground together into fine powder. Blow a small amount into the ear; the bleeding stops. (*Mifang Jiyan*)
Another prescription: Char *Polygoni Orientalis Semen* (Puhuang, 蒲黄) until black, grind into powder, and sprinkle into the ear. (*Jianbian Fang*)
Sudden spurting of blood from the skin: Use the paper sealing the mouth of a wine-cooking jar. Tear it into pieces resembling willow catkins, spread it over the bleeding site; the bleeding stops. (*Baiyi Xuanfang*)
Dermatohidrosis sanguinea (sweating blood): Burn fetal remains to ash and dust the affected area. (*Jisheng Bian*)
Hemorrhage from the five orifices: Spray well-water (Jinghua Shui, 井花水) directly onto the face several times. Quickly part the hair. Soak several layers of straw paper with vinegar and place it over the fontanelle; the bleeding stops immediately. (*Yishuo*)
Changfeng Louxue (intestinal wind leakage bleeding): Equal parts of *Corymbosum Flower* (Gujingcao, 谷精草), *Aristolochiae Caulis* (Madouling Teng, 马兜铃藤), *Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata* (Chuanwutou, 川乌头), and *Sparganii Rhizoma* (Jingsanleng, 荆三棱) (stir-fried). Decoct in water. First fumigate, then wash the affected area. (*Puji Fang*)
Hematuria (blood in urine): Mash *Lactuca Sativa* (Wojucai, 莴苣菜) and apply as a poultice to the umbilicus; the bleeding stops. (*Haishang Fang*)
Vaginal bleeding in women (caused by sexual intercourse injury): Sprinkle *Myrobalanus Chebulae Fructus* (Wubeizi, 五倍子) powder into the affected area; this is beneficial. (*Xiongshi Fang*)
