[General Record] Treats various sores after ulceration, where excessive pus discharge leads to internal deficiency. (After ulceration, massive loss of pus and blood results in exhaustion of both Yin and Yang; it is appropriate to greatly tonify Qi and Blood.)
Huangqi (Astragali Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex), Fuling (Poria), Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus) are ground into powder in equal proportions. Take 5 qian per dose, taken well after meals.
Huangqi (Astragali Radix) and Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) tonify Qi and consolidate the Defensive Qi (Wei Qi). Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) and Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex) invigorate Blood and promote tissue regeneration. Fuling (Poria) leaches out dampness and strengthens the Spleen; Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix) clears heat and tonifies the Lung. Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix) is acrid and dispersing, specifically managing carbuncles and sores. Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus) is sour and warm, effective in reducing swelling.
(Zhu Danxi stated: After the ulceration of carbuncles and sores, tonifying Qi and Blood and regulating the Spleen and Stomach is truly paramount. Otherwise...)
Treats various sores caused by damp-heat leading to skin breakdown and dripping toxic fluid, or swelling and pain of the scrotum and thighs/legs in the lower body, as well as various sores in the lower region. It produces miraculous effects without exception.
Haipiaoxiao (Sepiae Endoconcha) [need not be soaked to remove saltiness], Renzhongbai (Human Urine Sediment) [or Renzhonghuang, Sha is also acceptable, in equal proportions], ground into fine powder. First, use a strong decoction of Baicao [Hundred Herbs], while hot... [text missing]. For severe cases, add... [text missing].
A miraculous prescription for treating Chancre of Syphilis (Yangmei Xiagan).

Xingren (Apricot Seed) [take the frost/powder], Zhen Qingfen (Calomelas) [equal proportions, ground into powder], apply to the sore. Scabs will fall off in two to three days.
Another prescription from Marquis Wuding:
Xionghuang (Realgar) [1.5 qian], Xingren (Apricot Seed) [30 kernels, peeled and core removed], Qingfen (Calomelas) [1 qian], ground into powder. Mix with bile from a male pig to apply. Heal in two to three days.
Treats sores that bleed but produce no pus, with unceasing itching. (Bleeding without pus indicates insufficiency of Exterior Qi. All itching belongs to...)
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) [2 qian], Huangqi (Astragali Radix) [5 qian], Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus) [2 qian].
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) and Huangqi (Astragali Radix) greatly tonify Qi and Blood; Lianqiao (Forsythiae Fructus) resolves guest heat in all meridians; Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) guides Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) directly to the exterior. With these two substances working together, the efficacy is faster.

Treats Qi and Blood deficiency, where sores appear on the neck, face, abdomen, and back. (Sores and scabies on the hands and feet are mild; those on the neck, abdomen, face, and back represent... [text missing, likely "severe pathogen"]. This is the image of the petty man growing strong, thus it is appropriate to greatly tonify.)
Prescription found in Volume I, Upper Section, under the Supplementary Formulas for Si Jun Zi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) treating Qi Gate.
Si Jun Zi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) combined with Huangqi (Astragali Radix) greatly tonifies Qi; Si Wu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) combined with Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex) greatly tonifies Blood. When Qi and Blood are tonified, the sores on the abdomen and back will heal first. And the Way of the Gentleman... [text truncated].
