To treat Huoyan (acute conjunctivitis) with immediate effect.
Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus Spina (Zaojiao), Centipedae Herba (Ebusicao Cao), Natrii Sulfas (Mangxiao), Litchi Pericarpium (Lizhi Qiao)
Grind the above herbs, each in equal parts, into powder. The patient should first hold a mouthful of water, then insufflate the powder into the nose for miraculous efficacy.

To eliminate nebula and relieve pain.
Lingling Xiang (Lingling Incense), Veratri Rhizoma (Lilu), Caryophylli Flos (Dingxiang), Nardostachyos Radix et Rhizoma (Gansongxiang), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, *each 1 liang*), Agastaches Herba (Huoxiang, *5 qian*)
Grind the above into fine powder. Insufflate a small amount into the nose.

To treat eyelid swelling difficult to open due to wind-heat.
Realgar (Xionghuang, processed by water levigation), Cinnabar (Chensha, *each 2 liang*), Asari Radix (Xixin, *2 qian*), Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, *a little*), Moschus (Shexiang, *a little*)
Grind the above into powder. First hold water in the mouth, then insufflate the medicine into the nose.

To treat severe eye pain.
Stephaniae Tetrandrae Rhizoma (Hanfangji), Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdihuang), Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Shudihuang)
Take the above herbs in equal parts, decoct in water, and take orally.

To treat redness and swelling of the eyes.
Cortex Lycii (Digupi), Chrysanthemi Flos (Juhua), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, *5 qian*), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin, *2 liang*), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishaoyao, *1 liang*), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai, *2 liang*), Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Shudihuang, *3 liang*, soaked in wine)
Cut the above herbs into pieces, add Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie) and Junci Medulla (Dengxin), decoct in water, and take orally.

To treat wind-toxic heat eyes.
Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang, roasted), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Gentianae Radix (Longdancao), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishaoyao), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie), Chrysanthemi Flos (Juhua), Arctii Fructus (Niubangzi), Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe)
Take the above herbs in equal parts, decoct in water, and take orally.

To treat wind-heat toxicity and remove dampness.
Gardeniae Fructus (Zhizi), Stephaniae Tetrandrae Rhizoma (Fangji), Rehmanniae Radix (Dihuang), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishaoyao), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Gentianae Radix (Longdancao)
Take the above herbs in equal parts, grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with wine and taken orally.

Tonify gently and dispel wind. This formula treats deficiency, blood flooding the pupil (hyphema or vitreous hemorrhage), and diseases of the Liver meridian.
Terminalia Chebulae Fructus (Hezi), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Gardeniae Fructus (Zhizi), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Zijing Teng (Zijing Teng), Dendrobii Caulis (Shihu), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie)
Take the above herbs in equal parts, grind into powder, and take with rice soup.

Stop tearing. This formula was originally passed down from the Wu residence.
Tribuli Fructus (Jili), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, *each 5 qian*), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo, *1 liang*)
Grind the above into powder, and take with rice washing water.

Dispel wind-toxicity and stop continuous tearing.
Asari Radix (Xixin), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong, *each 1 liang*), Chrysanthemi Flos (Juhua), Morus Cortex (Sangbaipi), Inulae Flos (Xuanjinhua), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), Atractylodis Rhizoma (Cangzhu, *each 1 liang*), Tribuli Fructus (Jili, *2 liang*)
Grind the above into powder, and take with decoction of Equiseti Herba (Muzei).
