Treating wind-rash (urticaria) causing easy trembling of the arms, elbows, and wrists. Acupoint: Quze (PC3).
Treating heat-wind urticaria (sudden onset of red papules with intense itching). And needling to treat wind-pathogen deficiency. Acupoint: Jianyu (LI15).
Treating wind-urticaria. The whole body itches as if insects are crawling; scratching causes sores. Acupoint: Quchi (LI11). Moxibustion is applied according to the patient's age (Sui Nian Zhuang).
Treating wind-rash. Acupoints: Yongquan (KI1), Huantiao (GB30).
Treating wind-rash, heat-wind, and cold-bi caused by needle trauma. Acupoint: Xiakunlun (referring to Kunlun BL60 or specific needling technique near it).
Treating pain from wind-rash caused by needle trauma. Acupoint: Quchi (LI11).
Treating urticaria. Acupoint: Futu (ST32).
Treating wind-rash on the entire body in both adults and children. Acupoints: Hegu (LI4), Quchi (LI11).
The *Zisheng Jing* records: People suffering from wind-rash often experience dim vision. If the wind-pathogen is first expelled, the dim vision will naturally improve. Thus, dim vision can also result from frequent wind-rash. Should not wind-rash be treated first?
Treating heat-wind red rash, where itching upon scratching leads to sores forming wherever scratched.
Take a long mugwort stalk. Hold it with both hands, positioning it upright against a wall. Press the handle of the mugwort against the wall with both hands, extend the ten fingers, aligning the tip of the middle finger with the mugstalk. Apply a large moxa cone on the mugstalk. Moxibustion stops when the mugstalk breaks. Ten moxibustion units (Zhuang). Cured. If it recurs after cure, repeat the method. Permanent cure achieved.
Treating urticaria. Acupoint: Quchi (LI11). Moxibustion applied according to the patient's age (Sui Nian Zhuang).
Treating headache accompanied by urticaria. Acupoint: Tianchuang (SI16). Seven moxibustion units (Zhuang).
Treating severe leprosy-like diseases (Da Feng Lai Bing). Acupoints: Bilateral Quchi (LI11). Each point receives moxibustion according to the patient's age (Sui Nian Zhuang). Apply immediately upon flare-up. Highly effective. Additionally, at the left and right sides of the nail root of the middle fingers of both hands, and in the "tiger mouth" areas between the thumb and index fingers of both hands and feet, apply moxibustion according to the patient's age (Sui Nian Zhuang). Another version states three moxibustion units (Zhuang) each.
Treating Li Jie syndrome (joint pain migrating without fixed location) with sweating. Acupoints: Houding (GV19), Feiyang (BL58), Yongquan (KI1), Hanyan (GB18).
Treating Li Jie wind causing inability to flex and extend toes, dizziness, vertigo, and rebellious Qi. Acupoint: Feiyang (BL58).
The *Zisheng Jing* records: Shexiang Wan (Musk Pill) is particularly effective for treating Bai Hu Li Jie (White Tiger Li Jie) and other wind syndromes, characterized by migrating pain, sensation of insect crawling, quiet during the day, and aggravated at night. When Xu Shuwei was in Shechuan, a noblewoman suffered from migrating pain all over her body, flaring up at night, feeling like insects biting her muscles. Many treated it as demonic influence. Xu said, "This is precisely Li Jie disease." It was cured after taking three doses.
Treaching body pain and itching as if bitten by insects, where scratching causes skin peeling and sore formation. Acupoint: Quchi (LI11). Seven moxibustion units (Zhuang). Alternatively, use Sui Nian Zhuang. Wang Shi stated: In the *Liang Fang*, taking medicine for leprosy-like diseases for half a month, followed by fourteen moxibustion units (Er Qi Zhuang) on both knee eyes (Xiyan points). Chancellor Chang'an Gong suffered from numerous cases of leprosy and severe diseases. Among many prescriptions from *Qianjin Fang*, some were effective, others not. Only by combining silk leaf powder, made into pills using rice paste from sun-dried rice (size of wutong seeds), taken two to three times daily, 40-50 pills per dose, washed down with tea water, was it particularly fast-acting, though difficult to swallow. Even after recovery, continued intake is recommended. It has been administered to many others with miraculous effects. Furthermore, moxibustion on Quchi (LI11), Hegu (LI4), Zusanli (ST36), and Yangjiao (GB39) yields even better results. I have pressed these acupoints on others, and they all feel sore and painful.
Treating Bai Hu disease (a severe joint condition). Both men and women suffer from this. Women contract it postpartum; men contract it due to improper sleeping conditions. Symptoms include locked jaw, clenched fists, and inability to exhale. Moxibustion on Zhongwan (CV12) or Shenque (CV8 - note: text says "Qi Zhong", usually implies Shenque/Naval Cavity in emergency contexts, but literally "Center of Umbilicus"): Seven moxibustion units (Zhuang).
