[English Translation]
Use the white inner bark of maple roots, specifically obtained by peeling off the coarse reddish outer bark from the root. Keep it moist and process it into a coarse powder. For each use, take one sheng (unit of volume) of the medicine and two sheng of unadulterated wine. Decoct until... (text missing), treating malignant ulcers.
Wrap the root of Rubia cordifolia (Madder Root) in silk gauze. Decoct it with top-grade rice vinegar in a clay pot until hot. Fumigate and wash the affected area. If there is an open wound, apply a flesh-regenerating medicine.
Treating malignant ulcers with heat-toxin causing swelling and pain. Drill a hole near the bottom of a jar to hold water, allowing the water jet to spray onto the swollen area. Then seal the swollen area with egg white. Change it when it becomes warm.
Another prescription. Take Leonurus japonicus (Motherwort) and Choucao (Stinking Grass), crush them to extract juice. Ingest an amount equivalent to one chicken egg. Apply the dregs to the swollen area; change when warm. This is very effective.
Treating all kinds of malignant ulcers with unbearable pain and flowing yellow fluid. (From *Shenghui Fang*)
Burn one Trichosanthes kirilowii fruit (Gourd Fruit) to ash, grind it finely. Sprinkle an appropriate amount on the ulcer each time.
Treating all kinds of malignant ulcers.
Take the hooves of the "Jinmao" beast (likely referring to Pangolin or similar animal hoof, text unclear), fire-burn until the medicinal property is retained ("cun xing"), grind into powder, add a small amount of Moschus (Musk), and apply to the lesion. Cured.
Treating malignant ulcers with scabs, itching, and pain. (From *Zhouhou Fang*)
Crush Vigna angularis (Adzuki Bean) and apply as a poultice. The ulcer heals when the scab falls off.
Another prescription. Treating various malignant ulcers at the first sign of itching and pain.
Take 2-3 qian of Aconitum carmichaelii root lateral preparations (Caowu), grind into fine powder. Mix with wine. Dip a chicken feather in the solution and sweep it over the ulcer; the skin will wrinkle.
Treating malignant ulcers eroding the skin, injuries from metal wounds poisoned by toxins damaging skin and flesh, preventing wind-water invasion that causes non-healing, wrinkling of hands and feet, and tendon knotting at the ulcer base. (From *Bencao*)
Apply heated iron and hot molten iron. It will soon become dry and hard. Heat bamboo ash in fire, burn it on the edge of a knife or axe; the exudate resembling lacquer is the substance used.
Treating Gan Chuang (Chancre/Syphilitic ulcer).
Decoct Coptis chinensis (Coptis Rhizome) to make half a bowl of soup. Calcinate Calamina (Lvgan Shi) until red-hot in fire, quench it in the Coptis soup. Grind dry into powder, add Calomel (Qingfen), and mix with oil for administration (Note: Text says "fu" [take orally], but context suggests topical use; translated literally).
Treating pre-manifestation malignant ulcers.
Mix Duhe Soapberry (Sapindus mukorossi) with sour rice vinegar. Form into a paste. Warm it slightly and apply as a patch to the affected area.
Treating various toxic swellings and urticaria from malignant ulcers, which may be itchy or painful. (From *Baiyi Xuanfang*)
Use flowers of Abutilon theophrasti (Yellow Hibiscus Flower) and Solanum melongena (Eggplant Flower). Select only those that have naturally fallen. Use bamboo strips to handle them, place them in a clean porcelain vessel, avoid touching with fingers, and let them rot naturally. Take the resulting material and apply to the ulcer.
Treating black ulcers on the human face. (From *Zhouhou Fang*)
Records state: A merchant in Jiangzuo had an ulcer on his right upper arm that resembled a human face, with no other discomfort. The merchant jokingly dripped wine into its "mouth," and the "face" turned red. [Text fragment follows: "Yi Jin Tong Wei Zhi" - treated with gold tube? Unclear].

Treating malignant ulcers with flowing yellow fluid that do not heal and gradually worsen. (From *Bencao*)
Apply soil from the horns of oxen that pull salt carts. This stops the discharge. Grease from the side of the cart is also effective.
