When Lu Shi (mineral drugs, specifically stone-based medicines) induces Huoluan (cholera-like syndrome with sudden vomiting and diarrhea) accompanied by Zhuǎnjīn (muscle cramps/tendon retraction), it is due to irregular intake of these drugs, resulting in disharmony of Yin and Yang and the interference between clear and turbid Qi. Generally, individuals who consume mineral drugs have a constitution that tends toward heat.
