Shao Yin Jun Huo (Ministerial Fire of Shao Yin) governs the Si Tian (Heavenly Qi). Yang Ming Zao Jin (Dryness Metal of Yang Ming) governs the Zai Quan (Earthly Qi). The central Yun is Tai Shang Metal Yun (Excessive Metal Movement). The year's Metal is excessive; the Qi transformation operates ahead of time. This is the Ji Chun (Firm Completion) era.
Regarding "Upper":
It is named:
Its governance:
Chicken. Its correspondence:
Skin and hair.
The Qi of Heaven and Earth: Heat transformation is above, left is soft transformation, right is dynamic transformation. Thus, what the Heavenly Governance spreads, its Qi is bright. Pungent transformation is below, left is storage transformation, right is clear transformation. Thus, the Earthly Qi is solemn and its command is sharp. The Qi of the two years intersecting and taking charge, Cold intersects with Summer Heat. The corresponding Qi of Heaven and Earth, Heat adds to Dryness. Clouds race to the Rain Mansion, Humidity transformation proceeds, timely rain descends. Metal and Fire combine their virtue, corresponding above to Ying Huo (Mars) and Bai Tai (Venus). The grains are red and white. Heat transformation is seven, Clear transformation is nine, Dryness transformation is nine. These are the days of correct transformation. Feathered creatures are quiet, shelled creatures breed. This is what suits the yearly matters. Hairy creatures suffer depletion, Damp Toxicity does not arise.
Contending at:
Before the middle of the year, Shao Yin Jun Huo governs the Heavenly Qi. The transformation of Shao Yin has differences between Ben (Root) and Biao (Branch). Cold and Heat are balanced, its Qi is harmonious, without excess of Heat.
After the middle of the year, Yang Ming Zao Jin governs the Earthly Qi. Yang Ming does not follow Ben and Biao, but transforms according to Zhong Qi (Central Qi). Dryness and Dampness combine, its transformation is peaceful, without excess of Dryness. In this year, Flat Metal has no Sheng Fu (Overcoming and Retaliation), do not take the source of transformation, only assist the yearly victory, break its stagnant Qi, do not let it be violent and excessive to cause disease. For the year, use Salty-Cold to regulate the upper, Sour-Warm to calm the lower, Pungent-Warm to regulate the middle. Eat red and white grains to preserve true Qi. Eat grains of intermediate Qi to ward off empty evil. The Yun is same as Earthly Qi, suitable for more Warm-Thermal transformation. The governing Qi is Cool, use Cool but stay away from Cool. This is the way.
