If edema is due to heat, use Bazheng San (Eight-Herb Corrective Powder).
If edema is caused by dryness-heat damaging the Lung, cutting off the water source, clear the Lung and remove dampness so water generates naturally; add Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix) to Fuzi Tang (Aconite Decoction).
