The condition known as "Ke Li" (Polyuria with excessive thirst) refers to urinating immediately after drinking. This arises from taking "Rushi" (Mineral drugs, often containing arsenic or sulfur) in one's youth; the intense heat of these minerals, combined with excessive sexual activity, leads to the depletion and exhaustion of Kidney Qi.
Heat generates in the Lower Jiao (Lower Burner), manifesting as recurrent fever. All such cases are caused by the heat of mineral drugs. For conditions like this, it is appropriate to take Zhu Shen Qi Tang (Pig Kidney Shepherd's Purse Decoction) to restrain the mineral heat in the Kidneys. It is also advisable to take Bai Ya Tong Tang (White Duck Unblocking Decoction).
