As for intestinal hemorrhoids (Chang Zhi), they arise because wind pathogens carrying heat reside in the intestines and stomach. These two pathogens enter the intestinal cavity when the body is deficient, rushing to and affecting the lower part. This causes nodules to form at the anal margin, resulting in swelling, pain, and failure to resolve.
