One dose per day. Do not add Rhizoma et Radix Rhei (Dahuang, 大黄) and Natrii Sulfas (Piaoxiao, 朴硝). Decoct with water to the specified volume. If the patient's blood color is dark/black, increase the dosage of Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui, 当归) and Radix Rehmanniae Preparata/Shengdihuang (Sheng Dihuang, 生地黄).
