Xiong Zhi (Bear Fat, 熊脂), E Zhi (Goose Fat, 鹅脂), Yang Sui (Sheep Marrow, 羊髓), Niu Sui (Ox Marrow, 牛髓), Bai Gou Zhi (White Dog Fat, 白狗脂) [each 5 he], Ying Shi Bai (Eagle Droppings White, 鹰屎白), Qing Jiu (Clear Wine, 清酒), Zhu Fang Zhi (Pork Lard, 猪肪脂) [each 1 sheng]. The above are chopped. Soaked in wine for one night. Add fats and others. Boil three times (three up, three down). Until the wine aroma is gone. Strain to remove dregs. Add musk powder. Stir until it solidifies and changes color, then stop. Store tightly in porcelain vessels to prevent leakage.

Wuzeiyu Gu (Cuttlefish Bone, 乌贼鱼骨), Xixin (Asarum, 细辛), Gualou (Trichosanthes Fruit, 栝蒌), Ganjiang (Dried Ginger, 干姜), Shujiao (Sichuan Pepper, 蜀椒) [each 3 liang]. Above with Ku Jiu (Bitter Wine/Vinegar, 苦酒) soak for three days. With two jin of refined Niu Sui (Ox Marrow, 牛髓) boil it. Apply to face.
Face Application Formula:
Use Luokui Zi (Malva Seed, 落葵子). Makes face fresh and beautiful. Steam seeds, dry in strong sun. Scrape off skin. Grind kernel finely. Mix with white honey and apply. Very effective.

Bai La (Beeswax, 白蜡), Taohua (Peach Blossom, 桃花), Tusizi (Dodder Seed, 菟丝子), Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica, 白芷), Mulanpi (Magnolia Bark, 木兰皮), Xixin (Asarum, 细辛), Xinyi Ren (Magnolia Flower Bud Kernel, 辛夷仁), Bai Fuling (Poria with Hostwood, 白茯苓), Tugagen (Trichosanthes Root, 土瓜根), Gualou Gen (Trichosanthes Root, 栝蒌根), Baifuzi (Aconitum Heterophyllum, 白附子), Duheng (Peucedanum Decursivum, 杜蘅), Taoren (Peach Kernel, 桃仁), Xingren (Apricot Kernel, 杏仁) [each 3 fen], Yang Sui (Sheep Marrow, 羊髓), Manjing Zi (Vitex Fruit, 蔓荆子) [one or two sheng half], Niu Sui (Ox Marrow, 牛髓), Lu Sui (Deer Marrow, 鹿髓) [each 2 sheng].
All finely cut. Finally add wax and marrow. Add all herbs. Wait until Baizhi turns yellow. Paste ready for use. Wash face with soap beans daily, then apply.
