Regarding the accidental swallowing of various objects, such as gold, silver, needles, and hooks: Although these are not diseases originating internally, if there is no method to remove them, they will harm the body over time. For example, using an old comb to detangle hair, or using Magnetite (Ci Shi) to extract needles, rely on intention as the primary driver, not just the aroma or properties of substances. The skill in treatment shows exquisite care. The book *Ru Men Shi Qin* records: A child accidentally swallowed a copper coin, which got stuck in the throat and would not go down. All physicians could not remove it nor make it descend. Dai Ren (Zhang Congzheng) was summoned. After deep thought, he devised a plan. He rolled clean white paper tightly like a chopstick, cut the end crosswise to make it loose/bristly. He took another chopstick, bound a hook to its end securely so it wouldn't detach. He first inserted the paper roll into the throat, gently lifting and pressing to probe. Feeling the hook enter the coin's hole, he pushed the paper roll into the throat against the hook tip. Once the hook tip entered the paper end without injuring the muscle, he pulled it out.
