上用建盏一只，火上熔铅成汁，次下水银，用柳枝子打匀，取下放少时，下二味末打匀
令冷，取下研为粉，用米饮丸或用枣肉丸，如梧子大。每服三十粒，盐汤下。此药升降阴阳
，补接真气，非止头旋而已。

Treats dizziness and vertigo caused by deficiency, with incessant spitting of saliva.
Heiqian (Black Lead), Shuiyin (Mercury), Boshang Liuhuang (Sulfur from Overseas) (processed by water levigation), Zhusha (Cinnabar) (each 1 liang, processed by water levigation).
Take one Jian ware cup, melt the lead over fire until liquid, then add mercury, stir evenly with a willow twig, remove from heat and let cool slightly, then add the powders of the other two ingredients and mix evenly.
After cooling, remove and grind into powder. Form pills using rice drink or jujube flesh, sized like sophora seeds. Take 30 pills each time, administered with salted water. This medicine regulates the ascending and descending of Yin and Yang, supplements and connects the true Qi; it is not limited to treating dizziness alone.
Treats headache caused by all types of wind-stroke.
Tiannanxing (Arisaema Cum Bile), Chuanwu (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii) (each 8 jin, steamed three times with black soybeans), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) (8 jin), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba) (roots and nodes removed), Ganbohe (Dried Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) (each 4 liang).
Benshen (Belamcandae Rhizoma) (rhizome removed, washed), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix) (not roasted, each 2 liang), Jingmo (Beijing Ink) (1.5 liang).
Grind all into fine powder, pound with refined honey to form pills the size of bullet seeds. Take one pill each time, chewed down with mint tea soup.
Treats limb edema due to wind-dampness, muscle numbness, severe cases presenting with weakness in hands and feet, and flaccidity or spasmodicity of sinews and vessels. (Formula of Jun Yu)
Chuanxuduan (Dipsaci Radix) (washed, nodes pushed out, chopped, dried), Bibi (Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (washed, rhizome removed, thinly sliced, lightly fried), Fuzi (Prepared Aconiti Lateralis Radix) (dried, skin and navel removed), Xiongqiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma) (3 fen).
Grind all into fine powder, form pills with refined honey sized like sophora seeds. Take 30-40 pills each time, administered with wine or water, on an empty stomach or before meals.
Treats stagnation and obstruction due to cold-dampness resulting from scantiness of Ying and Wei, characterized by joint stiffness and pain. (Formula of Yang Jilao)
Chuanxuduan (Dipsaci Radix) (washed, nodes pushed out, tendons dried, chopped), Yiyiren (Coicis Semen), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex), Shanyu (Dioscoreae Tuber), Guipi (Cinnamomi Cortex), Huangqi (Astragali Radix) (honey-fried), Shanzhuyu (Corni Fructus) (with core), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis) (roots removed, thoroughly washed, finely chopped, each 1 liang), Gadihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata) (steamed and sun-dried nine times, dried, weighed, 3 liang), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma) (rhizome removed), Lujiujiao (Corne Cervi Degelatinatum) (each 7 qian).
Grind all into fine powder, form pills with refined honey sized like sophora seeds. Take 30-40 pills each time, administered with warm wine, on an empty stomach or before meals.
