Therefore, when green essence enters the stem, there is the fluid of the East; when white Qi enters the nodes, there is the fluid of the West; when red Qi enters the flowers, there is the light of the South; when black essence enters the roots, there is the essence of the North; when yellow smoke enters the bark, there is the spirit of Wu and Ji. To treat Ministerial Fire from a contrary approach, one utilizes its ability to scatter turbid, knotted, and stagnant phlegm. This is due to the resonance of their Qi, guided by intention. There is a type called Gou Qi Can (Cochinchina Mulberry Silkworm), which grows on the Gou Qi tree. It is harvested, dried in the sun, and used.
