For hot and itchy eyes: There is a volume titled *Zhenjiu Zhinan* (Guide to Acupuncture and Moxibustion) Part I. By frequently observing the hand acupoints, diseases of wind-qi stagnation throughout the body can be completely eliminated and never recur.
When wind-pathogens cause excessive illness, including all hemorrhoids and fistulas in the seven orifices, and severe pain in the head, eyes, ears, and teeth, as well as severe pain in the waist, legs, heart, abdomen, and hypochondrium: if medication is effective, it is Wind; if ineffective, it is Qi stagnation; if slightly effective, the Wind has left but Qi remains. Zhu Xi explained the poem *Zhong Feng*: "Wind and cold affect humans who possess abundant Qi." All beings with blood and Qi, including livestock, have blood and Qi, but only receive Wind without possessing human Qi (spiritual consciousness/righteous Qi), because they lack human-specific Qi.
