上为末,糊为软丸。绵裹纳阴中。
Tiaosheng Wan (also known as Shenshen Wan): Treats deficiency-cold of the Chong and Ren vessels in women, resulting in failure to conceive, or frequent miscarriage if conception occurs.
Zelan Ye (Lycopus lucidus Herba), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, washed and dried), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, washed and dried), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Baishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex), Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis, soaked in wine and stir-fried, each 1 liang), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, 1 liang), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, bark removed, each 5 qian).
Grind the above into powder, mix with vinegar paste to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, on an empty stomach with warm wine. (The Chong vessel is the Sea of Blood, and the Ren vessel governs the fetus; this formula uses Siwu Tang to nourish blood and promote prosperity, Baizhu and Shihu to nourish qi, Zelan and Danpi to cleanse turbidity from the uterus, Ganjiang and Rougui to warm uterine cold, removing old blood and generating new blood, warming the middle and benefiting the stomach, representing a correct mild treatment.)
Tiaoqi Nuangong Wan: Does not use Dihuang to avoid stagnation. (Check if the dosages are accurate.)
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, wine-washed), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, each 2 qian), Baishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, roasted), Xiangfu (Cyperi Rhizoma), Aye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium, stir-fried with vinegar), Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini, stir-fried with clam powder until pearl-like, each 4 liang).
Grind the above into powder, mix with vinegar paste to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50 pills per dose before meals with rice soup.
Aifu Nuangong Wan: Treats deficiency-cold of the uterus in women, leukorrhea that is white and profuse, sallow complexion, pain in the four limbs, fatigue and weakness, reduced appetite, irregular menstruation, pale menstrual blood, occasional abdominal pain, and long-term infertility. During medication, one should also avoid anger and raw/cold foods; repeated use has proven effective.
Xiangfu Zi (Cyperi Rhizoma, 6 liang, boiled for a day and night in 5 sheng of vinegar in a clay pot, mashed into cakes and slowly dried), Aye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium, select large leaves and remove stems), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, wine-washed, each 3 liang), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus, remove stems), Huangqi (Astragali Membranacei Radix), Baishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, stir-fried with light wine, each 2 liang), Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix, remove root tip, 1.5 liang), Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, wine-washed, 1 liang), Guanzi Gui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 5 qian).
Grind all together into fine powder, mix with high-quality vinegar paste to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50-70 pills per dose, well after meals with light vinegar water. Prepare on Renzi days or days blessed by Tiande and Yuede deities.
Shengjin Wan (also known as Nv Jindan): Treats chronic deficiency in women, improper postpartum care, violation of taboos, sterility or few children, delayed menstruation, red and white leukorrhea, heavy and painful lower back and legs, alternating chills and fever, emaciation, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. This medicine effectively regulates menstruation; take one pill daily. If taken during pregnancy, one pill every three days; postpartum, one pill every two days. It eliminates various miscellaneous symptoms, with effects too numerous to describe; cherish it.
Xiangfu Zi (Cyperi Rhizoma, 15 liang, soaked in vinegar for three days), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Baishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Baiwei (Cleomidis Radix), Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex), Gaoben (Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma), Xiangbaizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Moyao (Myrrha), Chishizhi (Halloysit Rubrum, separately ground, each 1 liang).
Except for Xiangfu, Moyao, and Chishizhi, soak the remaining thirteen herbs in good wine for three days. (The brilliance of this formula lies in its combination and the effect of wine soaking for three days.), drain the wine, dry, and grind together with the Xiangfu into powder. Then add Moyao and Chishizhi, and bind with refined honey to make pills the size of bullet seeds. Take one pill per dose, chew at dawn, and swallow with warm wine or plain water. After taking about 49 pills, conception usually occurs when the menses become regular. If pregnant, continue taking one pill every three days without restriction. Another version removes Moyao and adds Chenxiang (Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum); another removes Guixin and adds Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata), making pills the size of tung tree seeds, taking 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine or plain water, followed by dry food.
Baiwei Wan: Treats difficult menstruation in women, emaciated limbs, and gradual feeling of deficiency and fatigue. (Warming and moving is suitable, but treating emaciation is not.)
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Baiwei (Cleomidis Radix), Baiziren (Biota Semen), Baishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), Bixie (Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Binglang (Arecae Semen), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus, each 5 qian), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Baifuling (Poria), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis), Chuanniuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Zelan Ye (Lycopi Herba, each 7.5 qian), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex), Zishiying (Fluoritum, each 1 liang), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, 2 liang).
Grind into powder, bind with refined honey to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach with warm wine.
Baiwei Wan: Treats female infertility or cessation of menstruation, upper heat and lower cold, and serves as a general remedy for various diseases. (Using it to tonify qi and move blood is correct, but using it for upper heat is likely incorrect.)
Baiwei (Cleomidis Radix), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata), Chuanjiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium, remove eyes and closed ones, lightly stir-fried to release oil), Bailonggu (Ossis Mastodi, each 1 liang), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Tuber, remove heart, 1.5 liang), Gaoben (Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma), Juanbai (Serpylli Herba), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Fupenzi (Rubi Fructus), Taoren (Persicae Semen, soaked in water, remove skin and tips, double-kernel ones removed, lightly stir-fried with bran until yellow), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Baifuling (Poria), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Changpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Yuanzhi (Polygalae Radix, remove heart, each 7.5 qian), Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, lightly stir-fried), Xiong (Chuanxiong), Chuanshongzi (Cnidii Fructus), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed, each 5.5 qian).
Grind into fine powder, bind with refined honey to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 30 pills per dose on an empty stomach at noon with warm wine. Previously, several childless individuals used this formula and had children within a year, so it is recorded here.
Qin Gui Wan: Treats long-standing coldness of the Blood Sea in women, preventing conception. (It has drying-dampness and warming-meridian effects but lacks clear, smooth, and balanced properties; it should not be taken unless there is true yin-cold. The inclusion of Shashen is unclear.)
Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata) (one version uses Xiangfu), Baiwei (Cleomidis Radix), Banxia (Pinelliae Tuber), Fuling (Poria), Duzhong (Eucommiae Cortex), Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Qinjiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, each 3 liang), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Shashen (Glehniae Radix, each 2.2 liang), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Renshen (Ginseng Radix, each 4 qian).
Grind into powder, bind with refined honey to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach with wine. If ineffective, increase the dosage. For those whose menstruation is regulated and can tolerate tonification, intercourse can occur after seven days of服用. Avoid during pregnancy.
Aifu Wan: This medicine warms the uterus; use according to indication before or after childbirth. (A mild and balanced formula.)
Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata), Shengdi Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Xiangfu Zi (Cyperi Rhizoma), Qi Ai (Artemisiae Argyi Folium, each 1 liang), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium), Huoxiang (Agastaches Herba), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex), Gaoben (Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma, each 5 qian), Dingpi (Syzygii Fructus Cortex), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix, each 3 qian).
Grind into fine powder, bind with wine paste. Take 3 qian per dose. For cold uterus, take with hot wine. For white turbidity, take with salt water. For postpartum blood stasis, take with decoction of Aiye and vinegar.
Renzi Wan: Taking this medicine leads to pregnancy within a month; trials have shown effectiveness.
Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus), Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma), Baifuling (Poria), Bailian (Pleeospermopsis Rhizoma, each 1 liang), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Moyao (Myrrha, each 4 liang), Xuxiang (Boswelliae Resina, 3 liang), Chuanniuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, each 5 qian), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shichangpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Baifuzi (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma? Note: Text says Baifuzi, likely Pinelliae Preparata or similar, but literally Bai Fu Zi - Aconiti Kochuneisis Radix, processed, peeled, each 1 qian).
Grind into powder, bind with refined honey to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 30-40 pills per dose with warm wine or salt water, three times daily. Prepare on Renzi days in a place where no chickens or dogs are heard. Do not take if pregnant; do not take for unmarried women. (Using a day of strong water energy to combine with warming herbs aims for the method of mutual completion. However, the purpose of using Baiji and Bailian is questionable.)
Nanyue Wei Furen Ji Yin Dan: Treats deficiency-cold of the Blood Sea in women, long-term infertility, frequent miscarriages, all forms of irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, accumulation and mass syndromes.
Qinjiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Gaoben (Ligustici Wallichii Rhizoma), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Canbu (Silk cloth, burnt to ash), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, each 2 liang), Jingmo (Beijing Inkstone ink, calcined and quenched in vinegar), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Taoren (Persicae Semen, remove skin and tips, stir-fried, each 1 liang), Nuomi (Glutinous Rice, stir-fried, 1 sheng), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex, each 1.5 liang), Fuling (Poria, 3 liang), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata, steamed with wine), Xiangfu Zi (Cyperi Rhizoma, stir-fried), Zelan Ye (Lycopi Herba, each 4 liang), Chuanjiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium, stir-fried to remove eyes), Shanyao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma, each 3 liang), Cangzhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma, soaked in rice wash water, 8 liang), Dadou Huangjuan (Sojae Semen Praeparatum, stir-fried, half jin).
Another version: Chuanjiao and Shanyao are each 7.5 qian.
Grind into powder, bind with refined honey to form agents, making six pills per liang. Take one pill per dose, chew thoroughly, on an empty stomach, with warm wine or vinegar water. Alternatively, mix with vinegar to make pills the size of tung tree seeds, taking 50 pills per dose. (Although this formula contains many ingredients, it forms a complete system: tonifying qi without using Huangqi and Baizhu, tonifying blood without using Baishao, moving blood with Danpi, Zelan, and Huangjuan, moving qi with Muxiang, Xiangfu, Cangzhu, and Chuanjiao, stopping bleeding with Canbu and Jingmo, breaking stasis with Taoren and Danpi, warming with Rougui, Ganjiang, and Xixin, guiding meridians with Gaoben and Shihu, Nuomi harmonizes the stomach and nourishes yin, Qinjiao moves meridians and disperses dampness, tonifying without stagnation, warming without dryness. If one were to replace heat with coolness and dryness with balance, it would become a cooling method.)
Zishi Ying Wan: Treats long-standing coldness of the uterus in women, preventing conception, frequent miscarriages, irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, seven masses and eight growths, white discharge and leukorrhea. All are suitable for this prescription.
Zishi Ying (Fluoritum), Tianmendong (Asparagi Radix), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Chuanxiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Juanbai (Serpylli Herba), Wutou (Aconiti Radix, processed), Shudihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata), Xinyiren (Magnoliae Flos), Yuyuliang (Hematitum, calcined and quenched in vinegar), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shihu (Dendrobii Caulis, each 3 liang), Ziwei (Bignoniae Caulis), Mumeng (unknown, possibly Puerariae Radix or similar), Fencao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Wuzeigu (Sepiae Endoconcha, burnt to ash), Shuye (Dioscoreae Rhizoma, each 1.5 liang), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Baiziren (Biota Semen, stir-fried), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus), Sangjisheng (Taxilli Herba), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex), Xuduan (Dipsaci Radix), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed, each 1 liang).
Grind into powder, bind with refined honey to make pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50 pills per dose on an empty stomach with rice drink or warm wine. (This formula is exterior-interior related to the previous one, while Yuliang and Wuzeigu have drying-dampness and treating leukorrhea functions, Tianmen Dong and Baiziren have cooling and moistening effects; only ancients could weigh these factors appropriately.)
Dangbao Tang: Treats complete infertility in women, and cases of prolonged sterility lasting twenty to thirty years. (This formula is designed for those with robust constitution who have ceased menstruation due to excess.)
Piaoxiao (Natrii Sulfas), Mudanpi (Moutan Cortex), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, steamed for the duration of a meal), Taoren (Persicae Semen, each 3 liang), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex, stir-fried with ginger juice), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix), Chishaoyao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Renshen (Ginseng Radix), Fuling (Poria), Guixin (Cinnamomi Ramulus), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Niuxi (Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix), Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, each 2 liang), Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata, processed, 1.5 liang), Mengchong (Tabanus), Shuizhi (Hirudo, stir-fried, each 10 pieces).
Grind into powder. Take 6 qian per dose with half cup water and half cup wine, decoct to 60%, take warm. Take twice daily and once at night. Cover warmly to induce slight sweating; accumulated blood and cold red pus will be discharged, resembling bean juice, until fully cleared. If the patient is weak and exhausted, stop after one or two doses. If evil substances remain, use Sitao Yao.
Sitao Yao: Treats complete infertility and intermittent cessation, used after taking Dangbao Tang if evil substances are not fully expelled.
Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Spina, remove skin and seeds, 1 liang), Wuzhuyu (Evodiae Fructus), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, each 2 liang), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), Wuweizi (Schisandrae Fructus), Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, processed, each 1 liang), Baifan (Alumen Exsiccatum), Rongyan (Halitum), Shuzhao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium, each half liang).
Another version: No Dahuang, but includes Huangkuihua (Malvae Speciosa Flos) half liang.
Grind into fine powder, place in a silk bag shaped like a finger, insert into the vagina. Sit or lie down as desired, do not walk. Remove during urination. Replace with a new one once daily. Clear yellow cold fluid will be discharged; stop when fluid is exhausted. If no disease discharge is seen, leave it for ten days. This is because cold evil substances in the uterus cause infertility; pain occurs on cloudy/cold days. Wait until all disease substances are expelled; do not stop midway. Morning and evening, fumigate and wash with decoction of Kucai.
Neiyao Xusheng Wan
