The formula is found in the "Cold" section; adding Jupi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) makes it Jupi Zhizhong Tang (Citri Reticulatae Regulate the Middle Decoction).
Yan Shi states: If there is a throbbing sensation above the umbilicus, indicating Kidney Qi movement, remove Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma) and add Guizhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus); if vomiting is frequent, remove Baizhu and add Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens); if diarrhea is frequent, continue using Baizhu; if palpitations occur, add Fuling (Poria); if abdominal pain occurs, add Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma); if abdominal fullness occurs, remove Baizhu and add Fuzi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Preparata) and Houpo (Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex).

Note: These are medicines categorized under the Taiyang pattern.
Jufang Wuling San (Bureau Formula Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria): Treats Huoluan with headache, vomiting, diarrhea, irritability, and thirst.

Jiawei Xiangru Yin (Modified Elsholtzia Decoction): Treats persistent vomiting and diarrhea due to latent summerheat, irritability, and excessive thirst.
This formula adds Binglang (Arecae Semen) and Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) to the base formula.

Preparation and Administration: Coarsely crush the herbs. Take 1 liang per dose, add ginger, decoct in water, and drink when cooled.
Note: The above formulas all belong to the Taiyang category of medicines. Although they differ in cold, heat, yin, and yang properties, their use must be guided by the correspondence between the pulse and the syndrome.
