The wife of Chen Sheng, Chief Clerk of Sanyuan County, suffered for fifteen years with severe emaciation and unbearable abdominal pain. When this formula was presented, Zheng Shou later transmitted it to the residence of Chancellor Du. His descendants used it with universal success. For children, divide one pill into four parts and administer according to the child's age and size. When preparing the medicine, the user must personally count thirty boils of the Ban Dou (Crotonis Fructus), then remove and bake it dry; boiling may reduce potency. There are no specific dietary restrictions during medication; simply verify the symptoms carefully. Do not rigidly adhere to a specific decoction method; upon recovery, the therapeutic effect may not appear immediately.
